* Hatred is a work of the flesh of man.

 Galatians 5

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Comments by Joan Boney:

It is the nature of man to hate.

But after we are born again we are new creatures.

II Corinthians 5

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Now we have power through God over the works of the flesh.  We still have the flesh but we can turn to God when our flesh tries to rise up and exalt itself and we can ask God for help in controlling our flesh.

As long as we are on this earth, we win out over our flesh and devils, through turning to God in prayer and seeking God's help.

The people of this world try to stop hate by worldly ways.  And many who attend churches have not been born again and have only a form of godliness.

But only when you are born of the Spirit of God can you control your own flesh, and that is through turning to God in prayer for help from God.

Philippians 4:13   I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

When we leave these fleshly bodies, we will also leave the works of the flesh.  Until then, we control our flesh by overcoming through God.

Jesus says:

Revelation 3:5   He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
