Exhortations for the Church

Joan Boney .,. apostle/prophet

I Cor. 1 ...

to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints,

We are born in the flesh of man and then to some of us "something" happens ... God changes us into a new creature ...

At first we were of the natural man ... pursuing our own interests ... considering what we want and how to get what we want ...

In a blink of an eye, we are changed.  Born again of the Spirit of God.  Now we want to do what is right in the sight of God.

The epistles the apostle Paul wrote were to the church, to those changed by God.  He wrote to encourage the church in God.

He told us the following wonderful things:

...  in every thing ye are enriched by HIM, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

... Who shall also confirm you unto the end,

... by whom ye were called

When we understand these things, we no longer have to strive to be anything.  God has equipped us in every way as the Church.

God did it.

This is the New Covenant:

God says ...   I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (Heb.10)

The exhorations in these epistles are given to encourage the Church in the faith in God WHO does all things for us.

When we understand these statements of truth in God, we rest in HIM

I Cor. 1 ...

... Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

... Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

...  He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
