Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Romans 15:13 ... Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney)

The anchor to our soul comes in the midst of the battle when we can remember what God has said to us concerning that issue.

When God confirms to you the way to go and you go that way and the trials of life strike, you can think on God showing you to do that, and joy and peace and hope flood your soul in the midst of the trial for you know it was God who led you the way you are going.  This is critical for us.

The devil will try to torment and condemn us.  But when we think on WHO gave us this assignment and we know it was God, we can rest in joy and peace, resisting the devil with the word given us by God.

Greater works?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus said:  Jn. 14:12 ... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

What this means is we will do "more" works because Jesus was going to the Father.  Jesus was on this earth in the flesh approximately 3 years.  We have been born again for many more years than this.  And we were given the Holy Spirit at the time we were born again, Jesus having gone to His Father and sending us the Holy Spirit.

Another scripture using this word "great" ...

Psalm 68:11 ... The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

This means "many" publish the word.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Romans 15:4 ... For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

The example of the deliverance of the people of God from Egypt is one example of scripture that provides hope.  Egypt was so mighty.  The children of Israel were no match for these enemies.  How could God deliver them?  Then how could God provide for their needs in the wilderness?

Does it ever seem there is no way out?

The following is an astounding example of a very mighty foe in a position to destroy a much weaker nation of Israel until God set it up for the weaker party to win out over the stronger people.

Exodus 14 ... And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. 3For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. 4And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

If we had been trying to escape it is unlikely we would have positioned ourselves with our back to the sea and no way out.  But that is what God did for God was going to use the sea to save the children of Israel and also use the sea to destroy Egypt.

Exodus 14 ... And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 11And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.  14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

...And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.  28And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. 31And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

=======

The Old Testament is filled with so many examples showing the might of God.  Man can seem so strong but man's power is nothing when God deals with man.

Here is another example:  II Kings 6 ... Syria was trying to catch the prophet Elisha.  They chased him surrounded him.  The servant of Elisha was very frightened.

15And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?  16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.

And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 18And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Elisha saw the unseen.  We who seen the unseen know the power of God and things of God are real and the world is only temporary.

Reading the Old Testament shows the power of God so strongly.  These scriptures are an example to us and help our faith.

Trouble with relatives

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I have a cousin who is 90 years old.  She called me a week or so ago and as she talked she told me several things showing she was very troubled.  I felt so sorry for her.  She has been a Church of Christ member all her life but knows nothing concerning overcoming on this earth through prayer and God.  She just talks about her various troubles.  (I realize these church groups do not often teach people how to overcome.)

She invited me to come see her.  She lives 200 miles from me.

I wrote her and told her I would rent a car and come see her if she wanted to talk about spiritual things.  I told her the fleshly things were not profitable.  I sent her a portion of the writing:  Dealing with destructive throughs ... Also I realized she has a fear of death so I included the writing:  What happens when we die

I received a letter from her today.  I suspected it would be bad.  I "peeked" at the first line in the letter and read no more.  She said, " Joan, it is evident you care nothing about your earthly family ...

At bottom of her letter I wrote:

"Jeanne ... I'm sorry you misunderstand ... I told you things to help you live rest of your life in peace on this earth and to overcome through prayer and God."

===========

After mailing the return to her, I was praying asking God for help.

Paul grieved for the Jews ... Romans 9 ... I feel this type of grief when a person proves he cannot hear the word of God and cannot understand for this shows me that person does not have the Spirit of God and there is nothing in such as case as this that can be done to help such.

God reminded me of some of the prophets who were truly of God but their sons were sons of Beliel ...

There is an elect of God ... a remnant running through history ...

Isaiah said ... Isaiah 1:9 ... Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

If you have the Spirit of God, I suspect you can identify very much with this report.

The only thing I know to do is to commit yourself to God in this type of grief.

In my case, I am fortunate in that I do not have to be around such relatives.  But even if you have an opponent living in your house, God is greater than that opponent and when you belong to HIM, HE will sustain you.

Jesus said ... Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.  Mt. 12

God knows our heart ... and Jesus sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for us at all times.  We will overcome through HIM ...

Romans 8 ... Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
We overcome such things through God who upholds us with HIS word by the Spirit of God Who dwells in us.  All who are of God go through this type of thing.

While we are very sorry for those who cannot understand, we can rejoice that we belong to God and that HE chose us for salvation in spite of what we once were.

I often just sit and say:

Praise God, thank YOU for my salvation ...
Praise God, thank YOU for my salvation ...
Praise God thank YOU for my salvation ...

Over and over, I keep saying this and it is amazing how the peace of God falls on me as I continue saying this and thinking of God saving me.

Let not your heart be troubled

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus said ... Jn. 14:27 ... Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

A few years ago, I was going to an eye doctor concerning glaucoma.  He told me the pressure was very good.  It was being controlled with eye drops.  Then he said, "But what concerns me is your loss of vision."  I had just taken a test that is supposed to show levels of vision.  I was terrified.  Of course I turned to God.  I ended up changing doctors.  The second doctor scheduled me for the same test and I didn't want to take it because of the previous disclosure.  Then something came to my mind:  God has never told me I would go blind.  The Holy Spirit shows us things to come.  (Jn. 16:13)  I purposed to rest in this word.

The various things of this world frighten us.  But Jesus is saying, Do not allow your heart to be troubled.  Do not allow your heart to be afraid.  Rest in that which God has shown you concerning the issue at hand.  Have faith in God.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Romans 8:24-25 ... For we are saved by hope:but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

After we pray, we wait.  It is so important to wait and to have patience.  If you pray and then go out and try to make happen what you desire, you cast aside faith in God and place your faith in yourself and often in other flesh and blood human beings.   When you do this you can't see how God can answer your need so you set about to do it another way.  This is extreme evil.

Faith in God only comes by hearing that word spoken by the Spirit of God in the matter at hand.
When we pray, we then wait until God, by HIS Spirit, shows us what to do.

Numbers 9 is an example for us ...

And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. 16So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. 17And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents

In NT terms when following God, I always think of the cloud over the tabernacle as being times when we just do not know what to do.  In those times, when we are of God, we pray asking God what we should do.  And we stay still until God shows us what to do and then we act upon what God showed us in the matter at hand.

19And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.  20And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.  22Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

Focusing on that which is revealed by God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Psa. 19:9 ... The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

That which God shows you about the issue is true and right.

God gave me a dream about one of my cousins.  In the dream, she was blaming me for something I did not do.  She would not hear me in the matter.  I finally quit trying and left her house.  God was showing me this cousin would not be placated ... no matter how I try, she cannot be reached ... As I think on this dream, it shows me not to get involved with her thinking I can help her because I cannot help her.  Just leave her alone.

I've had dreams about two people who (in the dream) are not getting better but are getting worse.  This is truth.  Truth is not what my flesh would like to believe.  Truth is that which God shows me about them.  This is what I have chosen to believe about them when they are called to my attention.  This way my flesh will not deceive itself by thinking well of them as it wants to do.

As I thought on that which God has revealed to me about people, I remembered the following things which are true and righteous.

- When I bring correction, if the person never responds in repentance, this shows me that person does not have the Spirit of God even if that person says he is Christian.  It is the Spirit of God who convicts us of sin.  If there is no repentance, it shows the Spirit of God is not in that person to convict of sin.  I see this all the time in men who come to me saying they are "pastors".  I see this so much when I bring godly correction to individuals also.  These people do not have the Spirit of God though often they have been members of a church group for many years.

- When so-called ministers come begging for money or things ... or when individuals fail to overcome ... it shows me the LORD is not their shepherd.  If the LORD was their shepherd, there would be "no want".  They would overcome as they follow HIM.  But they are not following HIM.  Therefore they live in want and they fail to overcome.

- When I speak and the person replies and the reply is "off", that person can't understand what I am saying.  This is the same as Jesus spoke of in Jn. 8 when HE spoke to those who said they were of God but couldn't understand what HE was saying.  Jn. 8 ... Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

These judgments of the LORD are right about them and such helps me overcome my flesh which wants to think well of them or wants to give them the benefit of the doubt.

The above concepts shown me by the Spirit of God are truth.  I have been focusing daily on these truths to strengthen my direction concerning such people.

Not being able to focus

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

There have been times when I would try to read the Bible and not be able to focus.  It seemed that I was drying up.  Yet I could see no reason for this.

Recently when this happened, I was talking to God about it and I felt I should read Psalms.  I started with Psalms 1.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

I thought about the times God showed me by His Spirit what to do concerning various issues of this present life.  I did what I was shown which is "obedience unto righteousness".  I even went back to those scriptures I had been shown in these matters and established myself again in the way of God.

I thought about that tree is planted by the rivers of water.  We are like that tree when we continually seek God's way on this earth.  We drink from the water shown us by God.

There is no way we can wither when this is what we do.

So any thought of drying up is from the devil to stop us rather than from God.  And it is untrue for the devil has no truth in him.  (Jn. 8)  The devil is a liar.  (Jn. 8)

We simply stop buying into those thoughts from the devil and choose to believe what God says.

Please read:  Booklet #2:  Dealing with destructive thoughts)

Also in above scripture, Psalm 1, we see that whatsoever we do will prosper ... turn out well.  That is because we are tapped into that "river of water", the word of God, as spoken by the Spirit of God.  And as we do that which God speaks to us by HIS Spirit, everything we do is going to turn out well, prosper.  It is not just in money but in everything.

Recently I had dream about my cousin.  This is a cousin who has always been very difficult.  People have said being around her is like walking on egg shells ... she gets offended so easily without reason.  Her mind twists things.  This resent dream showed me she was blaming me and I was not guilty.  I tried, in the dream, to reason with her but she wouldn't hear me.  She went and got another woman and they both ignored me so I just left her house.  I believe God is showing me it just will not work to try to communicate with her.  Just leave her alone.  This gives me a very strong anchor for the days ahead.  It shows me what to do.

God helps us with scripture ... God helps us with dreams ... Regardless of how the word of God comes, it is still the Word of God.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 46:10 ... 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

There is certainly a time to be still.  We pray and we wait until we hear from the Holy Spirit.  And when we hear what to do, we act on that instruction. Until we hear an instruction, we wait after prayer.  We might pray again each time the subject comes to mind.  It is not weak faith to pray repeatedly on the same issue.  Jesus showed us that by the following parable:

Lk. 18 ... And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:  3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Paul said ... I Thess. 5:17 ... Pray without ceasing.  This means pray without ceasing to pray about the issue at hand.

But when we hear from the Spirit of God, then we rest in that which is spoken from the Spirit of God or we act upon that heard from the Spirit of God when the instruction calls for action on our part.

There are many who say they are Christians but they do not have the Spirit of God.  We are not "saved" by the flesh, by our own will. (Romans 9)  We are "saved" when the Spirit of God shows us our sin and we believe and repent.  Many go forward at church and "join" the church and are even baptized without having the Spirit of God convict them of sin.  When this is the case, they are not real Christians.  When the Spirit of God speaks to us and reveals our sin to us then we are convicted and repent.  Baptism without repentance will not work.  There will be no real change in a human until the Spirit of God shows that human his sin.

Repent ... and then be baptized ... (Acts 2:32) ... and after God reveals to us our sin God gives us the Spirit of God to dwell in us.  (Eph. 1)  This makes all the difference.  The Spirit of God guides us into all truth ... The Spirit of God reminds us of everything Jesus has said ... The Spirit of God teaches us all things ... And the Spirit of God shows us things to come ... (Jn. 14:16 & Jn. 16:13)

Without the Spirit of God we can do nothing of God.

People who cause you grief

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I was reading in Psalm 10 and noticed the following:

For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.   4The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.  5His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight:

I thought about people who "grieve" me when they call or write to me.

Usually such are talking about how bad things are in their lives ... or they boast about how great they are, how wise they are ... or they boast in other people.

Each bring such grief to me because when they speak I can tell they do not turn to God with their problems ... they do not hear from God ... they do not trust in God ... they trust in the wisdom of man.

Grievous means ... to burden or to entangle

This is exactly what happens.  They burden you with their many fears and their many sorrows  and their needs ... and you end up being entangled.  All you can do is think of them.

They are living in darkness.  When you turn on light they will flee from you

Recently my cousin called.  She is a very fearful person.  She speaks of all manner of worldly things though she has attended Church of Christ all her life and she is now 90 years old.  She casts her burdens on the people to whom she speaks.

I felt overwhelmed after speaking to her.  I felt so sorry for her.  But I also realized that her problem is she doesn't turn to God and settle her problems with God in personal prayer.  So she just talks about her problems to flesh and blood humans.

I wrote to her and encouraged her to take all her troubles to God in prayer and lay them out before HIM and she would be able to live in peace.

I sent her a portion of the writings on Dealing with Destructive Thoughts

I also sent her the writing on What happens when we die

I never heard from her after I sent these.

Turn on your light switch.  What happens to the darkness in the room?

So it is with us.  When people continually grieve us, usually if we turn on the light by speaking truth to help them, they will no longer come around us.  So we will no longer be grieved by them.

Occasionally  I will come across a person who does a fake type of repentance but there is no real change.  That person is trying to cling to me.  There are other ways God has broken such off me.

I can't live in peace and carry another person's burdens.  I can show that person how to turn to God and how to trust in God.  But I can't do it for them.  Showing them is all I can do and that usually frees me.

More from Psalm 10 concerning people who grieve you:

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Cursing is not necessarily using curse words.  Cursing can be bringing a curse upon you in the sense of troubling you.

But all this is because this person does not turn to God and follow God.  He is darkness though he often thinks he is light.

Most church groups do not teach you how to overcome.

And even in our own church group where I teach continually how to overcome, some do not overcome because the only way to overcome is for them to diligently turn to God in prayer and to do what God says.

Pam Padgett wrote something printed on June 12, 2013 ... "Helped with medical concerns"

This is a very fine example of turning to God with a problem and settling the issue with God and acting wisely through God and resting in that which God gives you.

Penalty in churches for speaking truth

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When reading book of John, the following caught my attention ...

Jn. 9:22 ... the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Today, if you speak certain scriptures in church groups, they will separate from you.  (When we confess a scripture is true for the church today, it is the same as confessing that HE, Jesus, is the Christ.)

Here is a very interesting example from Pam Padgett ... Pam says: During the last months of college, I rented a room in a house owned by a woman I met in the singles group of the church group I attended at the time.  This woman had been divorced twice and had a young daughter.  At first she seemed content to remain unmarried and raise her daughter.  But then she started looking for another husband.  I shared with her scripture that tell us that a divorced woman commits adultery if she remarries, such as

Matthew 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Mark 10:11 And he (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

After sharing these scriptures, I was shocked when she told me that she didn't care what the Bible says, she knew what she believed.  I moved from her house shortly after this.

The place I moved was quite a distance from where this church group met.  Although I continued to attend the Sunday services and would sit in the area of the auditorium where the singles group sat, I no longer attended the singles meetings.  I heard this divorced woman was engaged to a man I also knew from the singles group.  I went and spoke with him, sharing scriptures such as Matthew 5:31-32 showing that they would commit adultery if he married her since she was divorced.  He said he would consider these things, but he did not stop the engagement.

Then I heard that the maid of honor at the wedding was to be a woman I also knew.  I went and spoke with her, sharing scripture about the adultery that would be committed by this marriage.  She said she knew it was wrong for them to marry but they would get married whether or not she was the maid of honor, so she was going to do it.

About this time, I went to one of the Sunday morning services.  I arrived before any of the other singles, and sat in the area where we usually sat.  But no other singles came to sit there.  Right before the service began, I looked around and saw that the singles were sitting a few pews behind me.  I thought this strange, but didn't think a lot about it.  The next Sunday I sat in the "new" singles area, but they sat in the "old" singles area.  The following week, I got there shortly before the service began, and went to where the singles were sitting.  Without saying a word, those I sat next to got up and moved away from me. It was obvious they wanted nothing to do with me, but I had no idea why.  I cried out to God asking what was going on?  Had I done something wrong?  For a few weeks I didn't hear anything, and didn't know why I had become an outcast from the singles.

Then after the service one Sunday morning, a woman I didn't know very well stopped me and said she had a message from God for me.  The message she delivered was that God knew how I was being treated by those in the singles group, and that I needed to know it was because of what I had spoken about this divorced woman remarrying and that this was what HE had wanted me to do.  I was so helped by this message, now knowing why I was being shunned and that it was for doing good in the sight of God.  It was also very helpful to realize so strongly that God was watching over me, and the mercy and kindness God had shown to me in having this woman deliver this message to me.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 119:9 ... Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

The Holy Spirit is given to each individual so that we can know the things we are to turn away from and go in the right way of God.

The first thing we must do is to turn to God in prayer.  We then wait until we are persuaded God has shown us something.  Then we focus on that Word given us by the Spirit of God, doing what is appropriate according to that word.

The word of God can come from the mouth of a human.  Or the word of God can come to us in form of a thought. The word of God can come through a dream.  Regardless of how the word of God comes to us, the word of God is the power of God which show the way intended by God.

The word of God is a two edged sword.

The word of God saves those who believe and act upon it in an appropriate way.  But the same word of God condemns the unbeliever in the day of judgment and often the failure to do the word of God will bring penalty upon this earth to that person.

Heb. 11:7 ... By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Noah believed God.  The proof of Noah believing God is the fact that he built an ark as God told him to do.  And by that act of believing God, Noah condemned the world because he believed God and they did not believe.  Thus the two-edged sword of the word of God.

James 1 ... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

End times: Many ministers are thieves

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Mt. 24 ... And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I
(Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.

They come to me by email, and they say they are "pastors" or one of the other ministry offices.

Their letters begin with flattery ... telling me how wonderful I am.

Then they give a list of their works, often a very long list of their works.

Then they ask for money to support their works.

By their own words they show the Lord is not their shepherd for if the Lord was their shepherd there would be no want.

Here is another proof showing they are not of God and Jesus is not their Lord.  And this shows they do not have the Spirit of God in them.

I have received hundreds of such letters since I went on internet in March, 2012.  I have brought correction to them.  Not one of them has repented.  Not one of them has shown any sorrow or shame over that which they are doing.  This shows they do not have the Holy Spirit in them for if they had the Holy Spirit they would repent and ask us to forgive them.

They are ministers of Satan although they say "Jesus is Lord".

II Cor. 11 ... For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

They condemn themselves by their own works.  Their works testify against them.  They care for orphans and old people and this appears to be a good work.  But they themselves do not repent when confronted with their various sins against the church.  The non-repentance is the work that shows they are not of God and this is the work that will rise up to condemn them in the day of judgment.

Those who support them become a part of their evil works and enter into a form of condemnation.

II Jn. ... Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.  9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

They turn the house of God into a den of thieves in their attempt to get money.  They come in deceit and all crookedness.  They say Jesus is Lord but they do not repent when godly correction is brought to them.  The Holy Spirit is not in them to convict them of sin.

Satan tries to copy God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When the devil saw Jesus using scripture, the devil used scripture ... but Jesus' counter of scripture was more powerful than the devil.

Mt. 4 ... Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written,  He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

In John, when we read about Jesus feeding the multitudes with the 5 loafs and 2 fishes, we see the following:

Jn. 6:14 ... Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

I thought of how much the people went by signs and wonders ... and I see people today desiring signs and wonders ...

But in the end times, the devil is going to do many signs and wonders so you need to be aware of the following scriptures about this and not be swept away by men doing such miracles ...

Jesus said this would happen in the end times, and HE warned us of Satan doing this.

Mt. 24:24 ... For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

II Thess. 2 ... Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Revelation 16:13 ... And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,

Jesus warned us about the last days ... Mt. 24:4 ... Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus)  am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Many will come saying "Jesus is Lord" and because they say that they will deceive many.

Satan appears as "an angel of light" ... and Satan's ministers will come saying "Jesus is Lord", but their works show they do not really have faith in God.  They have faith in human flesh as they beg for money to pay for their works.  Their works are not authored by the Spirit of God but by Satan, therefore there is always need.

II Cor.

We will have reports of ministers doing great signs and wonders.  Many ministers will come in the name of Jesus and deceive many.  People who are desirous of these signs will gravitate toward these things.

Jesus warned us ahead of time and told us "Be not deceived."  Mt. 24

And Jesus said ... Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mt. 24

And I thought about the following example of the devil copying God in miracles:

Ex. 7 ... When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. 10And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalms 55:18 ... He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Psalm 23 ... The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.   3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Each time I am troubled and turn to God, HE restores my soul, often by reminded me of a scripture which settles me and assures me of the way of God. Sometimes I will be reminded of a dream which settles me.  But HE always restores my soul.  HE never fails.  I turn to God with the trouble and God restores my soul and I live in peace in the midst of the trouble.

When the religious people were stoning Stephen and killing Stephen, we read the following.

Acts 7 ... Stephen said ... Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. 59And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep
(died)

Stephen kept his eyes steadfastly on heaven.  We keep our thoughts steadfast on that which God shows us about the issue at hand after we pray.  This is the way we overcome and live in peace.

The religious people often try to kill the prophet of God and try to stop the prophet from speaking messages from God.  If you read the Bible you will see this over and over when you read the books of the prophets.  It is simply a way of life for prophets, both OT and NT prophets.  For prophets of God are used by God to show people various sins that they are doing and they do not want to see their sin so they accuse the prophets and try to stop the prophets from speaking.  I've had this happen many times in the 30+ years I have been a Christian and a servant of God in the assignment given me by God on this earth.

When I was on radio in USA, God gave me several judgment messages against ministers who were doing evil.  When I spoke these messages on radio, I was of course in danger.

At a meeting in Seattle, WA (USA), the radio station manager from Seattle was waiting for me outside the meeting room.  George said:  "Joan, you have many wonderful messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak the messages you are now speaking I don't know what's going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."

Without any thought at all the following words from the Spirit of God came from my mouth.  "If I don't speak the message I believe to be from God then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."

The attacks hurt.  But always God restores my soul and heals me and leads me in the way of God.  God never fails to restore and heal me.
