Scriptures:

Comments by Cathy Varner:

On Thursday’s podcast when Joan was talking about God telling her to sell their old sound equipment, and that everything sold and people were even contacting them to see if they had anything else to sell, it reminded me of when Jesus told the disciples to cast their net into a certain part of the sea and they had an abundance of fish.

John 21:5-6  Then Jesus said unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered Him, No.

6 And He said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

There is a similar account in Luke 5:4-6.

Romans 5:17  For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.

Psalms 46:10   Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Comments by Joseph Meriweather:

Some years ago I was catching the crosstown bus.  And as I got on the bus I heard "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper".   I went to the back of the bus and sat down. The bus came to the next stop and two men got on. They came back there where I was sitting. One had a bag and the other had a gun.  The one who had the bag was going to give bullet to the one who had the gun. I started to talk to them about being born again. They stop doing what they was going to do.  They got up from their seat and got off at the next stop. I thank God for HIS protection. Also the people on the bus.
