πŸ’₯ Podcast: Acts 26: Receiving specific instructions from God

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 23, 2020)

When we are called by God to be a minister of Jesus Christ, God also teaches us what we are to say and do. We don't learn to be a minister of God by hearing from other men. We don't learn to be a minister of God by going to a seminary. Neither do we copy other men.

Like the apostle Paul, we learn directly from God.

I John 2:20-21, 27   But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

27 But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

2 Peter 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2 Peter 3:14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things
(the day of the Lord), be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless

Luke 21-34-36  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
