Exodus 8:1-6 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve ME. And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs: And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

Exodus 7:8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord.
And he said, To morrow.
And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God.
And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God.
And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the Lord because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.
And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.
But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.

Concerning the time we live in and the last days:
As the judgments of God against the Egyptians came in the days of Moses, so will the wrath of God be loosed in the end time before Jesus returns to gather the church to Himself.
There will be great judgments of God which will come upon the people living on the earth at that time because of the sin of man on the earth.
As the people corrupted the earth in the days of Noah, people now corrupt the earth in each generation of man as it grows worse and worse just as the apostle Paul said it would do.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Finally, before Jesus returns, the great tribulation spoken of in Revelation 8-16 will come upon this present earth.
God will bring the various "woes" and "plagues" upon this earth by doing things only God can do, such as:
* hail and lightening (fire) are loosed upon the earth and 1/3 of the trees are destroyed and all green grass is burned on the earth. Revelation 8:7
* a great mountain buring with fire is cast into the sea and 1/3 of the creatures in the sea died and 1/3 part of the ships are destroyed. Revelation 8:8-9
* a great star falls from heaven, burning, and it falls upon the 1/3 part of the rivers and waters and many men die from the waters which are made bitter. Revelation 8:10-11
* a third part of the sun, and the moon, and the stars are darkened ... and the day shines not for a 1/3 part and the night likewise. Revelation 8:12
* great smoke comes from "the bottomless pit" of the earth which is opened and the air is darkened because of the smoke. Revelation 9:1-2
* locust come out of the smoke of the bottomless pit and hurt the men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. These men are tormented for five months as if they have been stung by scorpions. Revelation 9:3-5
Revelation 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
* angels slay 1/3 of the men of the earth. Revelation 9:15
Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
* a noisome (very bad smelling) and grievous sore came upon those who had the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. Revelation 16:2
* every living soul in the sea died. Revelation 16:3
* the rivers and fountains of waters became blood. Revelation 16:4
* great heat came upon the earth and men were scorched with fire. Revelation 16:8
Revelation 16:4 and they repented not to give HIM glory.
* great darkness came upon the earth and caused men to gnaw their tongues for pain. Revelation 16:11
Revelation 16:11 And (they) blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
* the spirits of devils came working miracles. Revelation 16:14
* there was a great earthquake such as was not seen since men were upon the earth. Revelation 16:18
* the cities of the nations fell. Revelation 16:19
* every island fled away and the mountains were gone. Revelation 16:20
* a great hail fell on men. Revelation 16:21
Revelation 16:21 and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
The righteous rejoice at the judgments of God.

Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus says: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And the heavens and earth that we currently have will be destroyed by God as is told in the following scripture by the apostle Peter.
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The dead in Christ rise:
I Thessalonians 4:13-16 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
And those who belong to Christ who are still alive will be removed by Jesus from this present earth and will be gathered to meet HIM in the air.
I Thessalonians 4:17-18 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The "New Jerusalem", the heavenly city which is created by God, will appear:
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

The plagues of God free the people of God from the Egyptians of Moses day:
In Exodus, Chapters 7-11, we see the report of the continuations of the various wonders of God which are used by God to separate HIS people from the Egyptians and to eventually free HIS people from the land of Egypt and from the Egyptians.
After the frogs and the lice, God brings: swarms of flies, diseases on live stock, boils on man and beasts, grievous hail, locusts, gross darkness, the death of the firstborn of both man and beasts.
And I will put a division between MY people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

Exodus 9:3-4 Behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.
And the Lord shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

Exodus 9:18 God says: Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.
20-26 He that feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
And he that regarded not the word of the Lord left his servants and his cattle in the field.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

Exodus 10:21-23 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

God makes a difference between HIS people and the people of this world.
That is still the case as is proven by the various plagues that are to come upon this world in the end time in the great tribulation.
But no one can expect to live as a friend of this world, partaking in the ways of this world, and escape the plagues that God will lose upon this world.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
friend: one who supports another in his thinking and in his acts

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
