πŸ’’ Meditating on "peace", things that cause us to have peace and joy.

Comments by Joan Boney:

The apostle Peter told us in the Bible to live daily in "peace" waiting for the return of Jesus.  (2 Peter 3:14)  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Some of those things that cause me to have peace:

*  Animals (I love seeing the pictures of animals that appears on TV.  I love seeing the dogs that are being walked by their people. I love seeing the farm animals as they graze in the fields.

*  Verses of scripture from the Holy Bible (Above all, I love the Word of God, having been taken into heaven twice and merged into the body of Jesus, The Word.)

*  Words given to me directly by God through the years:
" You don't have to put up with this."  (defective TV: I had money to replace the TV and I did that as soon as I heard this word from God.)
" You can have a wood burning fireplace."
" You'll never see this house again."  (moving me elsewhere)
" Don't go until you see Exodus 15." (when I was in danger)
" You should drive a Mercedes." (air suspension: can ride without pain)
" Or you could just buy and new car."  (when considering putting new upholstery on my 25 year old car God showed me an even better way for me to go.)

*  Design of my bedroom (Everywhere I look, I am happy with what I see and I feel peace and to me it is beautiful and I marvel in the talent given by God to that person who made the item.)

*  The car God had me buy.  Realizing that God had me buy such a wonderful car that rides so well, so smoothy, on such good air suspension.  Shows how God cares for me and wants me to have such things to make me happy and protected and which doesn't cause me pain to ride. (God gives us the "finest of wheat.")

* My little radio that plays our USB collection of classical music. (I often say at the end of my prayers: "Thank you for Mozart and Beethoven.")

* Getting to live with another person of real faith in God.

*  Seeing the beautiful puffs of clouds created by God that float past my bedroom window. (I like to lie in bed and watch them.)

*  Hearing the wind, which is created by God, as it blows through the trees.  (Seeing the tops of the trees moved by the wind which is sent by God.)

*  Seeing the mountains and the beautiful valleys with the pasture land created by God for the cows and other animals.

* Seeing the rain and snow created by God as it falls outside my window.  Smelling the grass as it rains.  Smelling the flowers in the yard as the odors that comes through my window from the fresh cut yard.

* Experiencing the wonderful weather we have where I live in Colorado.
