They could not enter in because of unbelief

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The promises of God are there for each person, but not all enter in.

The key to entering in is to believe the promise of God.

In the Bible we read the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

I John 1:7   But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

We continually enter in by believing.

Each time we do something that we believe to be wrong, we could sit and grieve, which does no good at all toward paying for our sins.  We could even try to pay for our sins by our own works, and "make it up to the person".  That usually doesn't work either.

The thing that does work every time is just accepting the fact that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin.

We just accept the fact that the sin we committed is paid for by the blood of Jesus, and it is only the blood of Jesus that is worthy to justify us in the sight of God, for no man can justify himself by what he does.

No matter how much we read the Bible or grow in spiritual things, we are not going to make ourselves worthy.

Our spirit lives inside a body of flesh, and the flesh will always try to rule. Therefore, we find ourselves becoming angry, annoyed, striving, debating, for these are the works of the flesh in which we live.  We often catch ourselves and control ourselves and back down from the flesh, not allowing it to do what it wants to do.

But when we yield to the flesh, we have an advocate with God through Jesus Christ who paid for our sins.

And no matter what you try to do to make up for what you said or did, you will fall short.  For you are not worthy.

The blood of Jesus is worthy, and the only way any of us can enter into forgiveness is through accepting that the blood of Jesus paid for our sins.

Therefore, we have to enter in through believing this and accepting it.

Hebrews 3:17-19    But with whom was HE grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
