I Kings 9  (God speaks to Solomon)

3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before ME: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put MY name there for ever; and MINE eyes and MINE heart shall be there perpetually.

4 And if thou wilt walk before ME, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep MY statutes and MY judgments:

5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

6 But if ye shall at all turn from following ME, ye or your children, and will not keep MY commandments and MY statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

7 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for MY name, will I cast out of MY sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

I Kings 11

1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

2 Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept MY covenant and MY statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

13  Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David MY servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

14 And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.

πŸ’₯ The commandment of the Lord for the New Testament Church.


I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

The divorced woman has 2 options, according to the commandment of the Lord:

  * remain unmarried

  * or be reconciled to her husband

If she remarries, she commits adultery and the man who marries that divorced woman commits adultery, says Jesus.

Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

If her husband dies, she can remarry.  This is the only way she can remarry without committing adultery.  God intended the woman to be pure.

I Corinthians 7:39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

(If her husband dies and she chooses to remarry, it must be to another Christian.)

The world thinks rules for men and women are the same.  That is not true in the case of divorce and remarriage in the sight of God.

If the wife is unfaithful, the husband has grounds to divorce the wife and possibly remarry.  But if he remarries a divorced woman, then he commits adultery.

Romans 7:2-3  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Mark 10

1 And HE (Jesus) arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto HIM again; and, as HE was wont, HE taught them again.

2 And the Pharisees came to HIM, and asked HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting HIM.

3 And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

The apostle Paul explains to the men that at the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh, even if they have sex with a prostitute.

I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

The Sadducees came to trap Jesus.  

Luke 20

Then came to HIM certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked HIM,

29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.

30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.

31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.

32 Last of all the woman died also.

33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.

34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

πŸ’₯ The Great White Throne ... Where God judges.


Revelation 20

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In Revelation 3, Jesus speaks of the book of life as follows:

Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before HIS angels.

By this scripture, we see that our name can be cast out of the book of life.

We overcome by turning to God in prayer in all things.  By connecting with God.  By agreeing with scripture and living that scripture, abiding in the Word of God to the end.

We set ourselves to do right in the sight of God.  Thus we live in God's righteousness.

We conform ourselves to scriptures, the Word of God, in the Holy Bible.  Not just speaking the scriptures but understanding the scriptures through God and living those scriptures and having the scriptures in our own heart.  And we care about the scriptures above all things, even above our own lives.

Jesus even went to the cross to fulfill the scriptures.

Matthew 26  

51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to MY Father, and HE shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

We do not live as people of this world live.  We do not live as the apostate church lives where they cast away scriptures which they do not prefer and set up other doctrines to please themselves and to approve sinners inside the church itself.

When Jesus returns HE will judge the apostate churches and they will be destroyed.

2 Thessalonians 2

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

God created the woman to be an "help-meet" for her husband.

Genesis 2

18  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

It is a really beautiful thing when a woman understands this and does this!

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.

No wonder Jesus said:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.  (Mt. 24:21-22)

We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Please keep this writing and all these concepts and scriptures before you and meditate on these things and be sure you are making proper adjustments to your life.

πŸ’₯ Pam Padgett: An answer to prayer concerning a medical problem


Over the past 9 months I've been to many medical appointments while being treated for cancer. (Recent tests show the cancer is now gone.) At most of these appointments, my blood pressure was taken and was considered to be "high". The nurse usually suggested waiting 5-10 minutes and taking another reading ... and often the reading was even higher! 
 
I have a wrist blood pressure monitor at home. When I take my blood pressure at home, its in the "normal" range. When I've told this to nurses, they usually just noted their high reading and suggested I discuss this with my primary care provider.  One suggested my wrist monitor may need to be re-calibrated.   

One nurse got very concerned and called a doctor to get approval to give me some medicine before she would take me to the area for chemotherapy. As that nurse grew more and more concerned, my blood pressure really increased!
 
Overall, this blood pressure issue kept coming up and I didn't see a way to keep this from happening, although I didn't think there was a real problem.
 
Recently I went to a new primary care provider, a Physician's Assistant named Jamie.  
 
Before going to this appointment I had talked with God about this blood pressure matter and had the thought to take my wrist monitor and check it against the reading at Jamie's office. 
 
So at the appointment, after the nurse took my blood pressure (which was high) I started putting my wrist monitor in place and explained that I wanted to see if it showed a similar reading to what the nurse had gotten.  Although the nurse was starting to leave the room, she stopped and watched me, saying she wanted to make sure I was using the monitor correctly. As I put my feet flat on the floor and lifted my arm so the monitor was at the same level as my heart, she said "You're doing that exactly right".  She stayed until my monitor gave a reading.  The nurse saw that my monitor gave the same reading she had received with her equipment.  
 
Jamie and I discussed my blood pressure and I explained to her that it is in the "normal" range at home using the same wrist monitor we had just verified was accurate with their equipment. Jamie suggested waiting a little bit and then the nurse would take my pressure again. As usual, my pressure was even higher! which the nurse reported back to Jamie. 
 
While the nurse talked with Jamie, I prayed about what to do and had the thought to tell Jamie that before starting blood pressure medicine, I would like to take my blood pressure at home for 30 days and keep records of the findings and send them to her. 
 
When she returned to the exam room, Jamie said she thought it would be good for her to prescribe a mild blood pressure medicine. I told her the plan I had been impressed with after praying. She agreed to do this, but wanted me to send the results after 2 weeks instead of 30 days. I agreed to do this. 
 
So for the next 2 weeks, I took my blood pressure at home each day and noted the results, and sent these readings to Jamie at the end of 2 weeks.
 
She responded that the readings look great and that no blood pressure medicine is needed.
 
I smiled, knowing this plan was from God and had freed me, not only from unnecessary medicine, but I think will also help me with future medical appointments with other doctors.   Now I can let them know that my primary care provider is satisfied that there is not a blood pressure problem.
 
(A rather fun note ... One nurse told me they call a rise in blood pressure when in medical settings like I was seeing "white coat syndrome"! )

I was diagnosed with high grade bladder cancer in September 2022.  In April 2023, tests showed the cancer was completely gone!  God gave me several dreams to show me what to do during this time.  
Even though 5 medical people on my case said I was not an ideal subject for the type of medical treatment I was choosing, because I felt God was leading me after prayer, I chose this treatment and the medical people agreed to treat me this way. To read this story, click here.

I could not imagine Babylon destroyed in one hour until 2020 and I saw Coved 19 shut down Times Square in New York City.  People and auto traffic ceased and ruin and stillness prevailed.  Then I saw the fall of Babylon!

The time comes when the glory man has created for himself vanishes and God reigns.  This is the fall of Babylon.

I Corinthians 6

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

I have been called by God and was given the spiritual gift of "exhortation".   

To "exhort" means:  to urge the church by advice and warning.  (Romans 12:8)

Concerning "exhortation" we are told the following in the Bible.

Hebrews 3

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

So "daily" I publish on our blog and present recorded Podcasts.

Hebrews 10:25  ...  but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Often the devil says to me:  "You write too much ... You speak too much."

But I read in the Bible to write and speak even more to the church as I see us approaching the return of Jesus for the sin and wickedness of this world will get even worse as we near the return of Jesus.

So I exhort the church "even more" as the Bible says to do.

The devil would like me to stop doing this so he says in my ear, "They aren't listening to you.  They tire of you."

But I see by the scriptures in Hebrews 3 & 10 to exhort the church daily and to exhort them even more as the sin increases on this earth.

And I pray to be able to do this until I am removed from this earth.

Should I listen to devil and stop and Jesus returns, I will not be "ready" for I stopped my assignment and began to eat and drink with the wicked.

Matthew 24

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So do the assignment which God has given you and continue doing that until Jesus returns to gather the elect.

And as we get nearer to the end of this world, the devil will be more rampant on this earth because he knows his time is short.

Churches will fall away from scriptures and antichrist will move in and the apostasy will be in church groups as they depart from specific scriptures.

2 Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

(In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are churches leaving the scriptures.")

The Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, kept antichrist out of the churches.  But when churches departed from specific scriptures the door was opened for antichrist to move into those church groups.

Antichrist is not one man but is a "spirit."

The apostle John tells us this in the following scripture:

I John 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

The apostle John told his own church group that there were already "many antichrists" that had come into their church group.


I John 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

When these "antichrist" people saw they could not bring in perverted doctrines, they left them.

19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

They began their own denominations, setting up their own doctrines, departing from many doctrines of Christ that are in the Holy Bible.

The apostle Paul said to the elders of the church at Ephesus:

Acts 20:28-30  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Paul also explains that these antichrist individuals who refused the doctrines of Christ in the church would be destroyed by Jesus when HE returns to gather the followers of the Word.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.

No wonder Jesus said:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Please keep this writing and all these concepts and scriptures before you and meditate on these things and be sure you are making proper adjustments to your life.

πŸ’₯ Jesus says: "Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." (Mt. 24)

In 1980, my best friend was a woman who had been raised Baptist and as a young woman changed to Catholic in order to marry a young Catholic man in Italy.

When they returned to USA, he divorced her.

Matthew 5:32  (Jesus says:)  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

She then began to attend a non-denominational church.  She apparently knew the scriptures concerning divorce/remarriage for she kept it a secret that she had been divorced and presented herself as an unmarried woman to the church.  

A man at the church had a wife and 3 children and his wife contacted cancer and died.

In time, this man wanted to remarry and began to consider the women at the church and selected 2 women to date. Donna was one of those women he dated, but he did not know she had been married prior to this.

He began dating her and she was the woman he selected to marry.  She then told him she was divorced but in spite of knowing the scripture, they married.

After I met them, at one point I asked Hal, "If you had known Donna had been married and was divorced, would you have dated her?"

He very thoughtfully answered, "No.  I don't believe I would have."

(Apparently he had been taught what Jesus said in the New Testament Bible in Matthew 5:32 where Jesus said, "Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.")

I've never heard this scripture taught at any church that I have attended.

But the Word of God stands as truth whether it is taught or not taught to a church group for we can all read this in the New Testament Bible.

Hal knew the truth but chose to go against the scripture as a Christian regardless, setting aside scripture for Donna. And Donna chose to set aside scripture for Hal.

God will sort through this and judge with righteous judgment.

2 Corinthians 5

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

After we are born again, it is such a serious thing to go against the Word of God.

Hebrews 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The Word of God must be more important to us than anything or anyone.

I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

This scripture, the commandment of the Lord, should be taught at each church.  But I've never heard it taught at any church.

Nevertheless, the scripture stands and Christians are responsible for the instructions presented in the New Testament Bible.

The apostle Peter says:

2 Peter 2   

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (The Word of God), they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

A shepherd watches over the sheep ... feeding them, guiding them, protecting them.

Who is our shepherd?  Not a dead person who is asleep who can not see us or hear us as some worldly people think.

Our shepherd is The Lord, the resurrected Jesus Christ who is the son of God and is The Word, having been with God from the creation of heaven and earth.

HE speaks to us today by HIS own Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth.

We know and believe these things because the Bible tells us so.

(Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us who belong to God.)

Hebrews 11

(This earth is only our temporarily dwelling.  We often watch what they do on this earth but really we are not a part of that which worldly men do. We are as "strangers and pilgrims" on the earth.)

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

The new heaven and new earth which God has prepared for HIS people and which contains only righteousness.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

At the end of this world, God destroys this heaven and earth with fire:
