I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
From
the time we are born again we carefully construct ourselves as the
temple of God which houses the Word of God. We cover ourselves
continually, day by day, with pure gold of the Word of the New Testament, living that Word on this earth.
As the apostle Paul says, we present our bodies a living sacrifice, " holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1)
In the Old Testament, God was very specific about the building of the ark which would house the Word of God. (Exodus 25-27)
How
much more careful should we be about the construction of "the temple"
(ourselves) which houses the Word of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
today?
I Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
I Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
In
this Podcast, we will look at the directions God gave in building the
ark of the tabernacle in the Old Testament and consider how we must go
forward in God as "HIS temple" housing all that is holy for the New Testament church today and for the world.
