1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.
For a number of years I received injections in both knees every three months for pain caused by arthritis. These injections worked so well that I was able to avoid having knee replacement surgery and I was so thankful to God for helping me avoid this surgery.
Then we moved to a different part of the state at the end of last year and I quit going for these injections in March because it was too far from where we now live to keep going for them and was a difficult trip for us to make.
Since stopping them I haven't had much pain and what I have had has been minimal and I am grateful to God for this.
But then the thought came to me not long ago that the severe pain I used to have could come back at any time and that I need to find a local doctor soon. Of course, this thought brought a lot of worry to my mind.
So I turned to God asking HIM to please show me what I should do.
After doing this, I realized that a thought was forming in my mind which was this ... If you are not having a problem then there is nothing you need to do.
I believe this thought was from God and has brought me such peace. I have occasional twinges of pain and soreness but this is something I would expect with this arthritis and certainly not something I would go to the doctor about or even consider to be a problem.
Hearing this from the Holy Spirit has freed me from my worry and this causes me to be grateful for the help God has given me and the peace HIS wisdom has brought to me.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
