earnest heed:  sincere and intense conviction

By keeping that word in front of us and  meditating on that word and then by doing that word given by the Holy Spirit we cause that word to become a part of us.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Our righteousness is of God for HE tells us to do that thing.

When we share what God has done for us, it not only helps the other person but our own faith in God becomes "effectual".
