Scripture:

Psalms 119:105   Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

John 16:33 (Jesus says)  These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jeremiah 17:7  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Psalm 47:8  God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of HIS holiness.

Psalm 21:3  For THOU preventest (goes before) him with the blessings of goodness: THOU settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

Comments by Pam Padgett:  Reading Psalm 21:3 reminded me of an example of God going before me with blessings of goodness, much as King David spoke of God doing for him in this psalm.

In the spring of 2018, God strongly put in my heart to remodel my house to have a bedroom and handicap-accessible bathroom with shower on the main level of my house.  At that time, all bedrooms and bathing areas were on the upper level of my house. Construction began in late July and took about 6 months to finish.

In the meantime, Joan Boney was living by herself in a large house in Lubbock, Texas.  God told her that the time was coming when she wouldn't be able to live by herself.  In December, 2018, Joan fell and seriously broke her hip and wrist.  As the ambulance people rolled her from her house, she heard from the Holy Spirit "You'll never see this house again."  She was in a hospital and rehabilitation hospitals until the end of February, 2019.

By the time Joan was released from the rehabilitation hospital, the remodel at my house was completed and God had put in both of our hearts for Joan to move to Colorado Springs and live at my house in the main-floor bedroom, using the handicap-accessible bathroom, neither of which existed before the remodel.  Perfect timing.

Having Joan live at my house for the past 6 years has been a blessing to me in many ways, especially getting to live with another believer.  And it has made the work of the ministry I help with ... blog, books, podcast ... much easier with our being in the same house.  God going before me with blessings.
