Jeremiah 4:2
And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness;
4:3 ... Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.
4:6 ... For I will bring evil from the north and a great destruction.
4:7 ... and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way.
The great tribulation comes from God at the end of this world to judge the world and the apostate churches who cast away doctrines of Christ and make sinners feel approves as they continue to sin.
2 Peter 3:10-14
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
