Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus says:
Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
*****
The iniquity we see done by those people we love can cause us to lose hope and if we lose hope we will likely not want to read the Bible nor see scriptures, for such will be too painful for us to endure.
Therefore we must take the problem to God in prayer and in faith and allow God to reestablish our hearts in the matter at hand so we can go forth "in hope" even as we see the iniquity committed by them.
We must not allow the sin we see to cause us to be swept away from the love of the Word of God.
***
When Jesus returns for the church before the great tribulation, we know HE will raise the dead and they will meet Jesus in the clouds ... then those who are alive and remain will be changed from their current bodies and be taken up into the air to meet Jesus and those who have been resurrected from the dead.
I Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go ahead of) them which are asleep (dead).
For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
***
After the great tribulation, this present heaven and present earth will be destroyed by God.
There is a new heaven and a new earth prepared for the believers:
Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

As we read in I Thessalonians 4, the dead in Christ will rise first when Jesus returns. Then those who are in Christ and still living will be changed out of these present bodies (I Corinthians 15) and rise to meet the "in the air". We will all take taken to that "new heaven and new earth" wherein dwelleth righteousness. (This present earth will never be righteous. It will be destroyed.)
In the new heaven and new earth, there will be no sorrow, no pain.
The present earth will be destroyed after the wrath of God comes to judge this earth.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
***
But what if you are the elect of God and are not diligent to live in peace, without spot, and blameless?
What if Jesus returns and finds you otherwise?
Will you be ready to be taken up with the others who are the elect of God, before the great tribulation?
Or will you be left behind to go through the great tribulation?
***
Jesus speaks of being ready because we don't know the day or the hour of HIS return.
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(I believe only those who are "ready" will be taken up at the second coming of Jesus. Those who are not ready will go through the great tribulation.)

Matthew 24:37-51 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Therefore ... be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (II Peter 3:14)
* In peace:
* In peace:
We cannot be in peace if we have lost hope in God and in the scripture and in other words given us by God.
Our flesh, the flesh of other humans, and the devil will try to steal hope from us.
Through prayer and paying close attention to that Word given us by God and keeping that Word before us day and night is to holding on in faith to hope in God.
And if we really have hope, we will have joy over the matter at hand.
Only through prayer does that happen.
And if we really have hope, we will have joy over the matter at hand.
Only through prayer does that happen.
***
* Without spot and blameless ...
We must settle everything with God, getting the thinking of God on the issue. Then we have to hold onto that which God shows us about HIS thoughts on the matter at hand. We hold on by keeping "that word" which God brings to our mind about the troubling matter. We can do that more firmly if we will write "that word" and look at that which God has said daily, keeping our mind fixed on that which we believe God has shown us.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
It is so important for us to take every "care" to God in prayer and to allow God to establish our thoughts and then to keep that which God has told us before us.
Example: I moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, on February 24, 2019. The house I lived in when I was in Texas was put up for sale. It is a very nice house and is priced well below the market. For the first two months, no one looked at the house. Then God called to our attention that the listing said it was a 2 bedroom house. We corrected the listing to 4 bedrooms. A four people then looked at the house. One man seemed very interested but then he disappeared.
At one point God gave me a vision: A man drove past the house and stopped at the back of the lot. Then he backed up and sat centered to the house and stared at the house. I felt this showed someone passed the house by and did not purchase the house, but then reconsidered. It does give me hope.
It has now been 4 months and the house, at this point, has not sold. When I think of the house I recall this vision and that gives me both peace and hope. I know I have hope for each time I hear the phone ring I wonder if the realtor is calling to say the house has sold. I think that will happen sometime. In the meantime, it is important to continue "in hope."
I don't think I could be hopeful except for that "word" given me by God.
Make your mind think on that which God has shown you and live in hope. It might be a scripture, it might be a dream, it might be a vision ... it might be all three ... but keep these things before you that you believe to be from God concerning the subject.
Joshua 1:8-9 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Living in peace ... and communion with other believers, eating and drinking the Word of God together, in one mind and in one spirit.
I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we walk in the light of the Spirit of God and another walks in the light of the Spirit of God, then we have fellowship one with another, then the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.
But if one walks in darkness while the other walks in light, we can have no fellowship with that person nor can we walk together. For to be with darkness, we must shut off the light and walk in darkness. If we turn on the light and let it shine, the darkness will flee.
I Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
(Although Paul spoke the above scripture to men and to women, who are married to unbelievers, God spoke this to me recently concerning those come to us as the church but do not continue with faith, doing the scriptures and end up separated from us. Some might learn how important the church really is and they might repent and return as did the parodical son. Knowing these things will make them even stronger.)
***
Paul said the following concerning a man in the church who was committing fornication.
I Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
We have to put some of the rebellious persons out of the church to save both them and the church.
I Corinthians 5:11;13 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat ... Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
But can we have joy and hope in doing this?
Yes ... because through spiritual eyes, we realize his soul might be saved through the destruction of his flesh when we put him away from us. For he will not be able to go forth in peace and health separated from the church if he is the church. God will judge him and something will happen to him when he is out there alone, and when it gets bad enough for him, he might come to his senses.
Also we have to realize a little leaven leavens the whole lump ... We cannot allow the entire congregation to be destroyed by one person.
We can only go forward in peace with others who walk in the light of the Word with pure hearts.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
***
For those in the church who chose to reject the way of God:
Jesus speaking to those who failed to bring forth fruits to God, casting aside the Word of God.
Matthew 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Each of us in the church know what it is to have our own plans conflict with the way of God and knowing such to give up our plans, this falling on this stone and having our flesh broken.
To hold onto your own way and reject the way of God will cause the word to grind you to powder.
***
Isaiah 55:11-13 So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
(Some are appointed to destruction. Pharaoh, Romans 9 ... and the Word given them does that.)
***
As for us when we purpose to follow the Word of God "regardless" ...
Isaiah 55:12-13 ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
We rejoice in "that Word" given by God and we go forth in "that Word" and we are a blessing and are blessed as a result of "that Word" ... therefore instead of being a thorn we will be a fir tree ... and instead of bearing briers we will be the myrtle tree ... and all will be blessed because of "that Word" that dwells in us as we go forth.
Peace ... joy ... gladness ... without spot ... blameless ... are the conditions we live in constantly through prayer and faith in what God says.

Hymn: I know that my Redeemer lives
1. I know that my Redeemer lives
And ever prays for me;
A token of His love He gives,
A pledge of liberty.
2. I know that my Redeemer lives,
A quick’ning Spirit He;
I know eternal life He gives—
Amazing grace—to me.
3. I find Him lifting up my head;
He brings salvation near;
His presence makes me free indeed,
And He will soon appear.
4. He wills that I should holy be:
What can withstand His will?
The counsel of His grace in me
He surely shall fulfill.
5. Jesus, I hang upon Thy word:
I steadfastly believe
Thou wilt return and claim me, Lord,
And to Thyself receive.

By Jesus, The Word, we who belong to God have been made free. We no longer have to serve our own flesh as we once did. Now we have God's Holy Spirit in us to remind us of the way of God which is so different from the way of this world ... opposite to the world. This is true freedom. Now we are free to serve God and to do the will of God as we live on this earth.
