Scriptures presented in today's blog

(Recommend:  Copy these scriptures on paper and keep before you day and night.)

Ephesians 4:1-7  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Acts 15:35-41  Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

***

Psalm 51:8-12

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which THOU hast broken may rejoice. Hide THY face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY HOLY SPIRIT from me.

Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free spirit.

Romans 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

(This does not mean Christ removed the law but rather Christ is the fulfillment of the law for when we walk in the Spirit (love, joy, peace) we fulfill the law. The law shows the sin of the flesh. When we walk in the Spirit, there is no need for law since law is for those who are unlawful but the Spirit will not go against the law but fulfills the law.)

***

Romans 10:9-19  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (The Word), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

***

Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (The Word) shall be saved.

***

Romans 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

***

Genesis 8:22 ... While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

***

II Peter 3:3-6 ... Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

***

II Peter 3:7 ... But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

I Thessalonians 5:1-11 ... But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with HIM.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
