Hymn: Praise Him, Praise Him, Jesus our blessed redeemer

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!

Sing, ye saints! His wonderful love proclaim!

Hail Him! hail Him! mightiest angels in glory;

Strength and honor give to His holy name!

Like a shepherd, Jesus will feed His people,

In His WORD He carries them all day long;

O ye saints that live in the light of His presence,

Praise Him! praise Him!
ever in joyful song!

2.  Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,

For our sins He suffered and bled and died;

He, our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation,

Hail Him! hail Him!
Jesus, the Crucified;

Loving Savior, meekly enduring sorrow,

Crowned with thorns that cruelly pierced His brow;
Once for us rejected, despised, and forsaken,

Prince of Glory, ever triumphant now.

3.   Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,

Heavenly portals, loud with hosannahs ring!
(portal:  doorway, way in, way out)

Jesus, Savior, reigneth for ever and ever;

Crown Him! crown Him!
Prophet and Priest and King!

Death is vanquished!

Tell it with joy, ye faithful,
Where is now thy victory, boasting grave?

Jesus lives!

No longer thy portals are cheerless;
Jesus lives, the mighty and strong to save.

Scripture pertaining to this hymn:

Romans 5:5-9     the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

(We didn't shed our blood for our sins, but Jesus shed His blood to pay for our sins ... without shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins  Hebrews 9:22 ... we cannot hope to pay for our sins and our wrong actions by our good works ... only by shed blood are we redeemed for sin and
cleansed)

Revelation 5:1-14   And I saw in the right hand of HIM that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

And HE came and took the book out of the right hand of HIM that sat upon the throne.

And when HE had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, THOU art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for THOU wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by THY blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto HIM that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped HIM that liveth for ever and ever.

Luke 24:1-8   Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

(The dead human body decays and stinks. They brought spices to cover the odor of death. But God was not going to suffer the body of Jesus to see corruption as other flesh sees corruption.)

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

HE is not here, but is risen: remember how HE spake unto you when HE was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

And they remembered HIS words,

Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 14

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with HIM an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads.

And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to HIM; for the hour of HIS judgment is come: and worship HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The Power of God that is in the Believer by The Holy Spirit

Book:  Great Is THY Faithfulness
Chapter 12
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus said:  Acts 1:8    But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

We, who belong to God walk through this present life.  From time to time we have a dream from God or the Holy Spirit will bring to our mind a concept so we can know the truth about an issue of this present life.  Or the Holy Spirit will remind us of a scripture.

When that happens, the power of God is upon us by that truth from God and with that revealing we have then the power to witness unto HIM.

Before receiving that word, we have no power.

This happens to us over and over as we live on this earth.  It is not just a one-time happening.  God is continually giving us HIS truth by HIS Spirit who lives in us.

*****

People of the world often seek a special power through superstitions.

They gather for dinner and click glasses together thinking there is some kind of power in this.  They cross themselves thinking there is some kind of power or they light candles or they put ribbons around trees.  These are works of their own imaginations as they try to connect themselves with that power.

But we who are of God know that power for it is the power of the Holy Spirit that is in us and HE rises up in us according to the will of God to reveal truth to us as needed.

I Corinthians 2:4-16    And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

We cannot conjure nor make the Holy Spirit speak and reveal things.  He speaks not because of what we do.  He speaks only by the will of God to speak.  When God wants us to know, HE speaks by HIS Spirit to us.

Ephesians 3:20    Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

The power that works in us is the power of the Holy Spirit who does the following in us:

- He teaches us all things ... John 14:26
- He reminds us of all that Jesus has said ... John 14:26
- He guides us into all truth ... John 16:13
- He shows us things to come ... John 16:13

Even before the day of Pentecost and before speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit was given to the disciples.

It was after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus from the dead, that Jesus appeared to HIS disciples before HE was taken into heaven.

John 20:20-22     And when HE had so said, HE shewed unto them HIS hands and HIS side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as My Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
And when HE had said this, HE breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Jesus had already ascended into heaven in a cloud before the Day of Pentecost.  Tongues did not happen until the Day of Pentecost.

The Holy Spirit was given before the gift of tongues.

HYMN:  POWER IN THE BLOOD

Would you be free from
your burden of sin?

There's power in the blood,
power in the blood.

Would you o'er evil a victory win?

There's wonderful power in the blood.

(Chorus)

There is power, power,
wonder-working power,
In the blood
of the Lamb;

There is power, power,
wonder-working power,
In the precious blood
of the Lamb.

I Corinthians 4:6-7    And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

* Choices

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I was born again in August, 1975.

I was in "the ministry of God" full time by 1980.

While I was on radio, many came to my meetings and sent offerings and seemed to be of God.

They would stay for awhile and then drift away from me.

***

One woman found me through radio broadcasts and came among us, but she troubled me with her strange decisions.  I found I was often troubled by her.

Later she was the only "church person" I knew who was living in the city where I lived.

I was growing older and had reached my 80's, but I often prayed this woman would never be in charge of me if I got to the point where I needed help.

***

On December 6, 2018, I fell and had to be taken to hospital and was scheduled for surgery.

The medical people brought me forms to sign telling who was to be responsible for medical decisions if I was unable to do such.

I said, "Pam Padgett is to be responsible for me."

(Pam had been doing the technical work for the books I wrote on Amazon and I had many occasions to witness the way Pam prayed and made decisions.)

This church woman who lived in the city where I lived was standing there when I said this where I named Pam Padgett.

This woman was very shocked!

She replied, "How can Pam be in charge?  She doesn't even live here."

I replied, "I don't know how she can be, but she is.  She will pray."

I had often seen this other woman fail to pray ... and I had witnessed many very questionable decisions she had made, and I often had to straighten things out when she spoke.

I had no blood relatives to take charge of me.

I certainly was not going to put a person in charge when I had witnessed strange decisions and decisions coming from her own wisdom.

***

One time, this woman called me wanting me to go with her to hunt a dining room light fixture.  I agreed to meet her at the store.  As I was going to the store, I prayed that we find the light fixture immediately and that we not have to go all over town hunting a light fixture.

When I walked into the store, I saw a light fixture that would work well for her house ... I didn't tell her because I wanted her to select the fixture.

She looked all over the store while I waited in a chair nearby.

Then she returned and said she didn't see anything.

I said, "That would work."  (pointing to the fixture)

She looked and agreed and bought that fixture.

Afterward, I asked her if she had prayed before we met at the store.

She replied, "No ... because I knew you would."

***

After surgery on December 10, 2019, I had a vision.  I saw this church woman standing at the foot of my hospital bed.  She looked at me and then turned and walked through the wall, disappearing.

I thought I was having a drug induced "vision" because they had given me strong pain killers after surgery.

But approximately two weeks later, while I was in a rehabilitation hospital, this same woman came to my room and said, "I don't care about anything or anyone any more.  I don't read Bible or blog any more."

I replied, "But what will happen if you go that way?"

She replied, "I don't want to discuss this with you."

(If you don't want to discuss spiritual things with me, how can you be around me?)

She disappeared from my room as I had been shown in the vision.  Then I knew the vision was from God showing me what would happen.

Later this woman said she was sorry she had done that.  She said she showed no mercy toward me.  I told her not to be concerned at all for I felt she had tried to do something that was not of God by trying to "take care" of me.

***

Pam Padgett surfaced during that hospital time and took charge and made godly decisions and helped me during the 2 1/2 months I was in rehab hospitals.  She flew several times from Colorado to the hospitals in Texas.

Then when I was released from hospital, she moved me to her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 450 miles from the city in Texas where I had been living.

During that time, Pam even flew to Texas and got my old car to take to Colorado and got my cat and took cat with her as she drove back to Colorado Springs in my old car.

(It took Pam and two other women 3 1/2 hours to catch my cat and to get cat into the cat carrier to make that trip to Colorado!  Cat was definitely not happy until I appeared at Pam's house about a month later.)

This was all of God.

God worked it all out for me and it works great because Pam prays over things and we operate in one Spirit while dwelling together, and because of this we can live in peace and not in trouble.

How can you settle for less?

How can you take the "seen" when that which you can see troubles you?

I couldn't.

* Isaac sowed in "that" land where God placed him and God blessed him in that land.

Joan Boney ...  apostle/prophet

Acts 17:26  (God)  hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

The original translation of the NIV says God determines the places where we live and the exact times we will live there.

***

God said to Isaac:  Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:  Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee.  Genesis 26:2-3

v. 12   Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.

***

The instruction given by God to Joseph was just opposite to that given to Isaac.

Matthew 2:13-14   And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

***

The thing which we do is that which God tells us by HIS Spirit.  When God speaks, we take appropriate action to that Word given by God.

When I was 81-years-old, I fell at my house.  The ambulance people came to take me to hospital and when they rolled me through the front door of my house, the following information came into my mind:  "You'll never see this house again."

I knew that was information from God.  I put that house up for-sale and never attempted to return to it again.

I had been living there alone and even before falling I realized this was not going to work for me in the future.

God had another way for me to go at that point in my life.  I did not resist and I followed that way as it was made clear to me.

***

James 3:17    But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

***

We sow in the place where we currently live and when God gives us another instruction and moves us we sow in that land.

We stay or go with the full assurance that God knows that which is best and God places us according to HIS own will and we serve HIM fully whether God causes us to stay or to go.

But when we go, we go with joy and with the peace that it is God instructing us.

Isaiah 55:12-13   For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

I've always found I've moved with joy and peace when God gave me a word.

And I've found that God's yoke is easy and HIS burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.

***

The Egyptians greatly afflicted the nation of Israel and when they began to obey God, then things got worse for them.  The Egyptians increased their burdens.

Exodus 4:29-31    And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: And Aaron spake all the words which the Lord had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people. And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

But when the Egyptians heard those things God had said, they made things more difficult for the people of Israel.

Exodus 5:1-9    And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.

At first the things were made worse by the word given by God.  But God was going to deliver HIS people from the Egyptians.  And by HIS continued word, HE did deliver HIS people.

At first, HIS people rejoiced to be delivered from Pharaoh.  Exodus 15

But then, in the wilderness they ran into trouble.

Exodus 16:1-3   And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

They seemed to forget the terrible things the Egyptians had done to them by killing their male babies when they gave birth.  And they forgot the increased burdens the Egyptians put on them in their work assignments.

Moses called on God and each time Moses called on God in the wilderness, God provided their need.

While they had to fight many enemies and problems as God led them, God made a way for them to overcome and led them on to the place HE prepared for them.

I Corinthians 10:13    There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

***

Luke 21:36   Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

When we see a problem we pray over the problem and over the people involved in the issue.

If God continues to harden the heart of the people in the problem, God might be planning to move us.

Wait until you are certain you have God's way.

Eventually all these things we can see with our natural eye will be destroyed by God in HIS wrath.  But God has a way for us to escape or endure.

I Timothy 6:17   Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

***

II Peter 3:10;14   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

... Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Hymn: Power in the Blood

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Would you be free from your burden of sin?
There’s power in the blood,
power in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?

There’s wonderful power in the blood.

Chorus:

There is power, power,
wonder-working power,
In the blood ... of the Lamb;

There is power, power,

wonder-working power,
In the precious blood of the Lamb.

2.  Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s power in the blood,
power in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide,

There’s wonderful power in the blood.

3.  Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s power in the blood,
power in the blood;
Sin-stains are lost in its life-giving flow,

There’s wonderful power in the blood.

4.  Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s power in the blood,
power in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?

There’s wonderful power in the blood.

Scripture pertaining to above hymn:

Hebrews 9:22    without shedding of blood is no remission.

God explained it to me this way:  You did not shed your blood for your sins.  Jesus shed HIS blood for your sins.

You can do nothing to pay for your sins other than to trust in the shed blood of Jesus.  Believing in Jesus and HIS works justifies you.  You cannot be justified by your own works.  You are saved by grace.  After you are saved, then you do the works of God as the Holy Spirit in you shows you what to do and you choose to do that which HE shows you.

John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

II Corinthians 5:17    Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

***

I John 1:7   But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ HIS Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we "walk in the light" of the Word of God ... we have fellowship with others who walk in the light ... and then the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all our sins.

It is like going to a car wash to have our car cleaned.  We drive onto the tracks and the car is washed as long as that car stays on the tracks.  As long as we walk in the Word of God we are on the tracks.

When bad memories come to pull us down, we refuse to continue to think on such and we deliberately return to thinking on the fact that those things we did in past are washed away and we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus and all past sins are removed by Jesus' shed blood.

Jesus died to pay for our sins.

We acknowledge this sacrifice of Jesus each time we make ourselves stop thinking of our past sins and think instead of Jesus' payment for our sins.

And we acknowledge that we are now dead to sins with Jesus so we can now serve God instead of serving sins ... and we go forward by faith.  We cannot allow ourselves to dwell in the past for to do so denies the blood shed by Jesus for our sins.

Therefore Paul says:

Philippians 3:13-14    Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 13

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom.  Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:  for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore six.

You Meant it Against Me for Evil, but God Meant it for Good

Book:  Great Is THY Faithfulness
Chapter 11
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the 1990's, a man became angry with me and turned my name into the IRS (tax investigators) to try to get me audited and harmed by IRS.  (Internal Revenue Service in USA collects taxes in USA.)

I was notified I was being audited.

(Personal audit, not ministry, for IRS agent said IRS does not audit tax exempt ministries nor churches)

I only took a very small salary at that time and everything I took was reported on the 1040 tax forms required by IRS, so I really didn't see how this could harm me.

*****

The two IRS agents came to my house.  When I opened the door, the agent said the name of a man, asking to see him at my house ...  It was the man who had been angry with me.

I replied, "No ... I'm Joan Boney."

The agent was very embarrassed.

I think this man's name was on the form with my address and this man had asked IRS to do the audit against me.

*****

I invited the 2 agents into the house.

I told them they were welcome to take all my cancelled bank checks for both the ministry and for me personally.

They were shocked!

Apparently people did not hand over their cancelled checks to IRS this way.

But I didn't care.  If I had done anything wrong, it was a mistake and I would correct it by paying the fee and appropriate fines to IRS.

I talked with the agents, gave them the bookkeeping and the checks and they left.

After their audit, I went to the IRS building to receive their finding.

I asked if they found anything wrong.

They said they did not.

One agent asked me a question.  He said he noticed the ministry did not pay social security taxes for me.  These are paid by the employer, which in my case would be the ministry.

I explained that when the ministry was first set up with IRS (in 1979), we had an option concerning social security.

I could sign "a vow of poverty" with IRS and the ministry would be exempt from paying social security taxes for me.

The man who set up our legal papers in 1979, was a former IRS agent and he advised me not to sign this vow of poverty, for he said if I signed this, we could never go back and receive social security payment for me.

Neither would I ever be able to have Medicare, medical provision from the US government.

I was young at the time and didn't foresee illnesses.

And the ministry at that time, 1979, could not afford to pay social security taxes for me.  We had no income when we started out.

So I signed the IRS "vow of poverty."

The agent said there was no record of such a vow being filed with IRS so if I would like to buy-back into social security I could do so for $8000.

At the time of this audit (1990's), the ministry was well established and we had plenty of money to pay social security taxes so I wrote out a check for this immediately and gave it to the agent.

This turned out to be very important.  A decade later I fell over a box, broke hip, had surgery, and had to spend an entire month in a rehabilitation hospital.  I'm sure the cost was enormous.  But it was all paid by social security and by my supplemental insurance policy.

Also at the age of 62, I began receiving small checks, about $500 a month, from social security.  This was enough for my personal needs so I stopped taking salary from ministry.  To this day, this is still the way I live.

The tax audit turned out to be a great blessing for me and for the ministry!

Genesis 50:20    But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.
