💥 Speak truth at all times, not just when you have sworn under penalty of perjury as the world does.

 

I have noticed in newscasts they speak of a person being under oath.  And sometimes the newscaster will tell of someone speaking but he was not under oath.

We as Christians speak truth at all times.

But it is not so with people of this world.  They often try to avoid taking an oath to speak truth because the oath is under penalty of perjury and could carry a prison sentence if they lie.

I John 5:19  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
