The apostle Paul told us Jesus could not return until there was "a falling away". Churches would fall away from scripture ... and the man of sin would be revealed with this falling away.
I fretted greatly before I learned this. After learning this, I was able to live in peace even when I knew of the falling way of the end times.
I learned just to walk away when I saw this perversion and not to try to attend those church groups. They will not be corrected. There is nothing I can do but leave them.
2 Timothy 3
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

The falling away of the end time churches.
II Thessalonians 2
(In 1982, God said to me: "The falling away are not individuals leaving the churches. The "falling away" are churches falling away from scriptures.")

The scriptures hold antichrist back. When churches fall away from portions of scripture and set up other doctrines, then antichrist moves into those churches.
Antichrist is not one individual but a spirit opposite to Christ living in humans.
Antichrist was already in the churches in the day of the apostle John.
John says:
I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

When Jesus returns, HE will destroy the apostate churches.
