I avoid election ads on TV whenever possible. There is so much evil in these as they cause us to think evil of the opponent's political party.
I remind us that the apostle Paul warned us to pray for those in authority.

Recently when I heard on news that the Israel cabinet would be meeting on a certain day to decide what they would do in retaliation for Iran attacking Israel, I began praying for those in authority. I do not know the will of God in this matter. So I just began praying for God to give the leaders in Israel HIS wisdom.
CNN Breaking News / 10-15-2024 ... Israel announced today they will not attack the nuclear stored armaments in Iran nor the oil supplies.
I believe that would have greatly escallated the Israel-Iran war.
Israel says they will only attack the army bases in Lebanon/Iran.
The one thing important is Jerusalem. Watch that. For when Jerusalem is destroyed we will know Jesus comes soon.

No man knows when Jesus will return. God sets up some wars by causing evil to come to justify the destruction of other nations. We see this throughout the Bible.
So it would be foolish to pray for peace in Israel when we know the time comes Jerusalem will be destroyed as the Bible tells us.
The following is ordained to happen for Jesus tells us this will happen.

(Currently, 2024, Israel reports 7 enemy nations surrounding Israel.) Iran fired missiles on Jerusalem on October 1, 2024. Various attacks have come from Hamas in Gaza to south, from Hezbollah in Lebanon to north, and directly from Iran in southwest.)

(JB) I believe we have entered the days of vengeance described in the Bible.
When we see Jerusalem destroyed, we should see the great tribulation from the wrath of God when the 14 plagues come upon this world. Then comes Jesus according to these scriptures:
Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus says: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Isaiah 13:13 (God says:) Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.
Dream given to me in early 1980's ... The earth moved on it's axis. People were terrified. The governments of men and scientists and religious leaders were meeting to see what could be done about it. A TV newscaster was giving a report and he became so frightened he couldn't continue speaking and he just walked off camera and left the room for he knew this tragedy affected him too.
When the earth moves in the solar system everything changes.

Continuing Matthew 24:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
(The dead in Christ will rise first ... Then those who are elect of God and still living will be change into their new spiritual bodies (I Cor. 15:48-51)... and they will be taken from off the earth to meet all those who have died in the air ...and all will be taken to the "new" Jerusalem created by God for HIS righteous. (Rev. 21:1-5))
Be ready for the return of Jesus. Live in peace daily ... without spot ... blameless, as Peter said to do. (2 Pet. 3:14)

The apostle Peter tells us how we should live while we wait for this coming of Jesus.
2 Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Seeing all these things written in the Bible telling us about the end of this world, how can our focus or hope be in elections and governments of men.
Build your nest in peace and keep your focus on living without spot and blameless for the judgment of God comes upon us.
