Luke 21 Jesus says:
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
For most of us, we just observe what happens, especially weather from God in various parts of the world. We know the War in Israel is going on now. (I check CNN writings most days to see what happened the day before in Israel.) We know what will happen because the Bible tells us. Jerusalem is a key to knowing when "the days of vengeance start." Lk.21: 20-22
From the above scriptures, it seems to me that "the days of vengeance" of the end times began in 2024 when arab nations and terrorists attacked Israel and especially Jerusalem. (I view these events as a trumpet showing us where we are in time.)

I believe weather to be signs from God. And God shows us in Bible attacks on Israel are wake up calls showing the season in which we live.
Concerning Jerusalem, Jesus gives specific instructions: (Lk. 21:20-22)
* When armies compass Jerusalem, know that the destruction of Jerusalem is near.
* Luke 21:22 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
(When I see TV newscasters in Jerusalem I shout, "Leave. Get out.")
Definitely not a time to plan a trip to "the Holy Land." I wouldn't be wanting to go to this nation created by men anyhow. The NEW Jerusalem is created by God for the elect of God at the end of this world and we will be taken to that New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

I'm sure some well meaning young people will actually travel to Jerusalem "to help" and will die as a result.
Anything written in the Bible is very serious business and gives information to be heeded by us today.
