If we feel ourselves getting puffed up and feeling angry over something, this should be as a "stop" sign to us ...we might be about to step into something which we have no business in.

That which we become angry about probably doesn't even matter. but the devil will use what he can us to stir up us and cause us to sin.

As we wait for Jesus, the apostle Peter says: Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(Keep ourselves in peace continually not allowing ourselves to be stirred up in worldly matters, troubling ourselves without cause thinking we do good while we stir others up to evil. For that which we watch on TV goes into our hearts and will come out our mouth at some point and we will defile others by that which we speak.  And at the judgment seat of Christ we will be judged for that which we speak.  Mt. 10)

Live in peace, in joy, and in thankfulness to God for our salvation and for those good things which God has given to us to enjoy as we wait for the coming of Jesus.

1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

My husband and son went to an outdoor weekend concert event this Friday and Saturday. It was at a large park with a lake and rock formations, about an hour or so drive from us.

This morning my husband gave me this account of something that happened. One day they rode their bikes on trails throughout the park. Later that day or next day, they decided to go hiking. My husband said, “Let’s go see what God has in store for us.” They hadn’t remembered what trails they had been on earlier and just blindly took off to go exploring. Where they went was pretty far from their campsite.

They came to a fork in the path and my husband chose one of the ways. After a short time my son bent over and picked up something. To his happy surprise, it was his bike lock that had apparently dropped before when they were biking. It was like this was (at least one of the things) God had in store, and had been led by God to find. I was very happy to hear this.
