Some of you have the doctrine of "Once saved always saved."

Jesus says:  

Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

If we overcome ... Jesus will not blot out our name.  

We should see that our name can be blotted out of the book of life.

We must overcome sin and resist devils unto death ... through God.

Paul says:

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

 

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Recently we took our grandsons age 15 and 13 on a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They were somewhat interested in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. We walked for a mile on the Appalachian Trail that went through the park. I prayed that they would see something exciting the last day that we were there. My husband wanted to go to a restaurant. On the way back we saw another entrance to the national park. We turned there and found that the road followed a river. They were so excited to go into the river and swim. Then we saw 3 bears from our car window. They had a great day. I know it was because God answered my prayer.
