Devils live in people of this world who give themselves over to sins.
Devils also live in the people in the apostate churches who have turned from scripture to set up other doctrines.
Devils twist all truth and all reasoning. To try to reason with devils should be avoided.
We should just speak the truth from God by the scriptures and stay away from "heretics".

heretick: a person believing in or practicing religious heresy, opposed to scripture in NT Bible especially.

Warn the church goer once or twice, but then if that person shows no submission to the power of truth of the scriptures, we simply walk away, avoiding further "discussions", for to keep talking to such will rob us of peace and keep us from doing that which the apostle Peter told us to do in the end times as we wait for the return of Jesus.
2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Follow God with those persons who demonstrate themselves to be the elect of God, born again, showing a relationship which is instigated by God by HIS Spirit, displaying change caused by God which is what born again does in us.

Many false prophets and false teachers come in the end times.
Matthew 24:11-13 Jesus warns: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Many of the Jews could not understand that which Jesus spoke.
Many who say they are Christians cannot understand what we speak today, for they departed from portions of scripture and that caused God to turn them over to strong delusion that they would believe a lie.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

To those Jews who could not understand what Jesus was saying, Jesus spoke the following:
John 8:42-44 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love ME (The Word): for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but HE sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand MY speech? even because ye cannot hear MY word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The apostate churches today are like those Jews who couldn't understand Jesus, because after they departed from portions of scripture, God turned them over to a strong delusion that they would believe a lie and we will not be able to break through their delusion for it is from God.
