Comments from Joseph Meriweather:  We can't take it for granted that because we have the Holy Spirit, the Lord can't take the Holy Spirit from us.  

 

Psalm 51:11 ... David pleaded with the Lord ... Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY Holy Spirit from me.

Ephesians 4:30  And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
