1 The LORD (Jesus The Word) is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 HE maketh me to lie down in green pastures: HE leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 HE restoreth my soul: HE leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for HIS name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for THOU art with me; THY rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 THOU preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: THOU anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Exhortation by Joan Boney: apostle & prophet of Jesus Christ
The HOLY Spirit of God who dwells in each born again Christian, the elect of God, leads each Christian by bringing to mind the Word to show them what to do or by bringing direct instruction concerning what to do in the issue of this life so we know the will of God by that Word from the Holy Spirit.
Each born again person has the Holy Spirit living inside of him.
I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
The church building is not the church. We who have the Spirit of God living in us are the church.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
The Works the Holy Spirit does for each individual called by God is as follows:
John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
I Corinthians 2 ... (The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to reveal to us the will of God in the issue pertaining to this life.)
The apostle Paul explains: 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (born again/elect of God): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written, (Old Testament) Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.
10 (New Testament) But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (born again/elect of God): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

10 (New Testament) But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
(In OT only a few people had the Holy Spirit but in the NT all who belong to God have the Holy Spirit and we follow that which the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Heb. 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;)
Now (New Testament) God speaks directly to us by HIS Holy Spirit.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So ... The Lord (the Word, Jesus) is my shepherd, I shall not want ... because HE, by the Holy Spirit of Jesus, speaks to me and I follow HIM.
HE leads me into green pastures where there is good rich food.
HE leads me into areas where the water is still ... not heavy troubled waters.
HE restores my soul... when I am hurt or damaged by another person or event, it is the Holy Spirit to sets me on my feet giving me the Word that restores me in the way of God!
I often pray: Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
When another person hurts me with words, I turn to God so HE can clean me up. And HE does.
