πŸ’₯ 2 Corinthians 3:11      Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

***
πŸ’₯ Romans 14:19  Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

***

πŸ’₯  Colossians 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

πŸ’₯  2 Peter 3:14

10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Verse 14 is key direction for way to live as we wait for the coming of Jesus to gather the elect of God.

(We can't be anywhere near politics and live in peace. Often people divide themselves also over various sports.  Thinking they are somehow above others and trying to be better than others in fleshly, worldly things, and striving to beat others.  Taking up scorn and looking down on those they consider inferior.  These are evil things and to be avoided as we live as the body of Christ. Pride in other things can bring division: cooking, education, reputation among men.    Avoid those things which cause us to strive and debate.  Our kingdom is not of this world.  Set you mind on things above.  Speak that which edifies the body of Christ in the faith in God.)

Peace: freedom from division;  freedom from disturbance; tranquility; a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended;  to remain silent; peace is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there's no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom; Peace means being free from persecution due to one's nationality, immigration status, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, religious beliefs; Peace is a state of harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. In a societal sense, peace is commonly used to mean a lack of conflict (such as war);

Put things into your life which bring peace.  Avoid persons who argue, debate, strive for we are one Spirit in Christ and should not separate ourselves over things of this earth.  Seek unity of spirit in the bond of peace in Christ and the Word of God.  One Spirit in God and Christ.

Ephesians 4:1-6

 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
