Apostle John:
2 John
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

My mother always loved horoscopes.
I was visiting her and noticed a set of horoscope mugs in her kitchen cabinet. I remembered I gave those to her before I was born again.
I began removing the mugs from the shelf and started putting them into a garbage bag. My intent was to take them to the garbage dumpster and break the mugs so they could not be used by others.
My mother was watching me. She said: "Stop. What are you doing? You gave those to me. I want to keep them."
I didn't say a word.
I just kept putting the mugs into the garbage bag. I took them to the garbage dumpster in the alley. Broke the mugs by hitting the bag on the metal of the dumpster. And threw the broken pieces into the dumpster.
When I returned to the house. I got a Bible and opened it to Deuteronomy 18 and began reading this scripture to my mother.
9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

My mother thought about this for a few minutes, then said: "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that any more."
With this she was born again instantly.
