Psalm 145:18 ... The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
There are "deceptive" prayers where a person half-way prays, tossing some words into the air ... nothing settled at all.
James 5 ... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man ...
First a righteous man doesn't pray by rote, Neither does a righteous man pray just become someone asks him to pray or because he thinks he must pray because of some sort of duty or to please some human.
A few months ago a man came to me and asked me to pray that he would get a certain job. I explained to him that I could not do that because I didn't know the will of God in the matter. I told him I would pray for the will of God to be done. (I prayed for the will of God to be done and so far as I know the man did not get the job)
A righteous person prays according to the will of God and when he doesn't know the will of God he won't pray. I had no idea if that man should get that job. It might have been the worst possible thing for him.
Effectual means praying in proper way, according to will of God, ... a legal request ...
Fervent ... means "red hot" ... A prayer deeply within your heart ... not just cold, rote words because someone asked you to pray.
You have to really feel your prayer deep within your heart.
You can't pray "by command", just because someone says, "pray for me" ... It does no good to pray "head prayers" ...
(Providing daily encouragement for the body of Christ by the Spirit of God to help the church in the end times.)

Blood of murdered Abel cries out for justice
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Gen. 4 ... And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10And He said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
Two points here:
Cain was rejected for he was not doing well in the sight of God. Had Cain done well in the sight of God he would have been accepted. You can go through the right motions but not actually be right in the sight of God. If you do well you will be accepted.
The second point, Abel's blood was crying out for justice. This murder could not go unpunished. For justice to happen, there had to be a "sentence". The murder required a sentence. God pronounced a sentence upon Cain. verses 11-12 ... 11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
When abortion is committed, the blood of that child cries out to God for justice. The sentence is the woman who had abortion will never be able to completely forget that child which she murdered. The memory is the sentence. And if the father knows of the abortion the memory of the murdered child will arise in his mind from time to time while he lives on this earth. Try as they may to forget this abortion, they will not be able to forget. Only their own death will stop the memories of the murdered son or daughter.
In a way, that murdered child lives on through the memory the parents have of the abortion.
Heb. 11 ... By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
The difference between Abel offering being accepted and Cain's offering being rejected had to do with the fact that Abel offered his sacrifice by faith. Cain thought the offering would justify him before God. Cain trust in what he did, by his works.
At the judgment seat of Christ they will come to Jesus saying, "I did this ... I did that". Jesus hears of their works and replies, "Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity." Mt. 7

Psa. 37:23-24...Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 37:23-24 ... The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and
he delighteth in HIS way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly
cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
When we belong to God, we try to do HIS will, keeping our flesh under control. There are times when fleshly anger (and such) rises up and afterward we are sorry. When this happens, I find it best not to wallow in my failure but rather to rejoice in the fact that God had mercy on me and saved me from myself. I rejoice in having the Holy Spirit in me to teach and guide me.

The sin that is different from all other sins
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Paul says: (I Cor. 6) ... Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
We see by verse 18 that fornication is a sin that is different from all other sins.
Fornication is a sin against "his own body" ... I believe this means "HIS own body", against Christ's own body.
============================
Comments by Joan Boney: One of the worst forms of fornication to me is when a woman in church circles commits fornication (adultery) against her husband. A woman has a special call to godliness, especially in church groups. Such selfishness in a woman defies all decency. It is an evil beyond my comprehension. When it is a woman in non-church circles it is terrible. But when such a woman attends church and has a fundamental knowledge of Bible, we have to consider this to be an act described in Romans 1 as follows ... Romans 1:28 ... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; )

Heb. 1:13-14...Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Hebrews 1:13-14 ... But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit
on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they
not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall
be heirs of salvation?
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In a dream, I once saw a group of men sitting in a large room, like a fine library. They were at a table and were examining several precious stones which were on the table. One man spoke and said, "It's settled then. Let's go help her."
I felt the precious stones were members of the body of Christ. I felt the men who were going to help her were angels.
============
In January, 1980, I was asleep and was awakened by a voice like a trumpet saying three words, "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" ... As a result, I went on radio and ended up on radio from coast to coast.
I think it was an angel of the Lord who spoke to me that night.
===========
In another dream, we were judging angels. One angel began telling of the work he did. He took care of a little child. The child played freely as he kept an eye on the child. But when the child wandered too near danger, the angel reached out and pulled the child back to safety. This was a good angel.
I Cor. 6 ... Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

When religion is vain
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
James 1:26 ... If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
There is a woman in our little church group who drops bombs with her tongue. Everything will seem fine then all of a sudden she lets something drop which is devastating.
When we are of God, we have the Holy Spirit and there is a "check" when we start to speak something which should not be spoken. And we back off and don't speak what we wanted to speak. Thus the evil is kept in check and we refuse to hurt other people unnecessarily.
A woman who read the blog really seemed to be fighting against evil. She told how her pastor made sexual overtures and she rebuked him. For awhile this woman even seemed like a prophet for she saw evil and brought correction. But then she revealed she had been committing fornication. She spoke to pastor against fornication. She even spoke to the man which she was having sex with and told him it was a sin. Finally this man didn't want to have sex with her any more. She asked him why not. He said because you keep saying it is a sin and it makes me feel bad. (He seemed closer to salvation than she was.) Then she sent an email. I refused to read her email and told her I would not read her email because of her pursuit of fornication.
==================
Romans 1:28 ... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind
The person described in above scripture knew what was right in the sight of God but did not prefer going in the way of God and this sets the person up to be turned over to a reprobate mind.
In the OT, the following reference is given to "reprobate"
Jere 6:30 ... Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.
Reprobate means:
- a blinded mind
- no longer capable of judging correctly
- rejected by God
- void of good judgment
- unapproved by God
Romans 1:28 ... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind,
Sadly these are people who "do not like to retain God in their knowledge" ... They know what the scriptures say about various sins but they choose to ignore God and they choose not to go in the way of God and they choose to do the sin.

God delivers His people as He wills
Pam Padgett ... teacher
God is able to deliver His people from their enemies, and He does this according to His will. In 2Chronicles 20 we have a wonderful account in which it pleased God to destroy the enemies who came against Judah without Judah needing to fight in the battle.
When Jehoshaphat was king of Judah, the children of Moab, Ammon, and Mt. Seir set themselves to come against him. This brought great fear. But Jehoshaphat and those from all of Judah turned strongly to God ...
2 Chronicles 20:1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. 2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. 3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. 4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
They feared the great company of their enemies and didn't know what to do. But they trusted in God, laying the situation out before God, looking to Him to help them ...
2 Chronicles 20:12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
God put His Spirit on Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, who spoke to Judah that they would not need to fight in this battle but would see God save them. The battle was not their's, but God's ...
2 Chronicles 20:14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation; 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.
As Judah went forth as God told them, Jehoshaphat exhorted them to believe what God had said and to praise God ...
2 Chronicles 20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
God caused the armies that had come to fight against Judah to turn and fight against each other, destroying each other!
2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
When Judah came, they found that all of those who had came against them were dead ...
2 Chronicles 20:24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
Just as God told beforehand through Jahaziel, the battle was not Judah's, but God's. God chose for Judah to not fight in this battle, yet their enemies were destroyed. A strong example of the power of God and providing deliverance for His people according to His will.

Jere. 9:23-24...Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Jeremiah 9:23-24 ... Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in
his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the
rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in
this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which
exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for
in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
What we should "glory" in is how God chose us and revealed HIMSELF to us. This is the most wonderful thing that could happen to us. When this happens God also gives us HIS Spirit to live in us and we live by HIS Spirit as we heed His directions. We no longer try to figure things out by our own wisdom. Now we commit the issue to God in prayer and wait until HE reveals by HIS Spirit what we are to do.
Those who try to beat around the bush and go another way, in their own wisdom, become fools.
Romans 1:22 ... Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Glorifying God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jn. 16:14 ... Jesus says ... He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
We glorify God when we receive from the Holy Spirit and share that which the Holy Spirit has taught us with others.
I Cor. 2 ... Paul explains ... And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Recently I shared something that I believe to have been from the Spirit of God. We will not endure the current evils on this earth by focusing on the evil. We endure when we do what Paul said to do in Phil. 4:8 ...Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Jn.

James 5:11...Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
James 5:11 ... Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have
heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that
the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Several years ago, I received a prophecy which I believe to have been from God. He said: "There is a secret to endurance. I will show you."
Certainly we pray in the midst of trouble.
And I believe God showed me part of the secret to enduring is to make your mind focus on doing Phil. 4:8 ... Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
There are many wonderful examples in the Bible we can make ourselves think about ... Noah, Abraham, Joseph, David, Daniel, Peter, Paul ...
And we can certainly think on the mercy God had when HE saved us, revealing HIMSELF to us, for not all have this blessing. I rejoice every time I think of God revealing HIMSELF to me. How can the current trouble and evil overcome me when I make my mind think of this?

When things are devastatingly bad
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Monday of this week, things were so bad I just went to bed and spent the afternoon in bed reading various scriptures which I had underlined in the Bible. There was a special focus on the various scriptures in Psalms where David was crying out to God to be delivered.
One situation I am dealing with is secular and the other situation has to do with a problem revealed by a person in our little church group.
In the secular situation, I am dealing with some business people who have shown themselves to be very vindictive. I was very frightened. I have evidence that one of the people in this business would stop at nothing to harm me personally. Various ways he could try to hurt me came to my mind. I took each of these thoughts to God asking Him for help. When I prayed, I was reminded of another situation where a young man took vindictive action against me. He turned me into the IRS (USA tax investigation) and they set up an investigation against me and two IRS agents appeared at my door one day unannounced. One agent was holding a clip board and when I went to the door he looked at the clip board and said the name of this young man who was offended by me. The agent didn't mean to reveal the name of this man. It was an accident. But the fact that this man's name was on the papers held by the IRS man told me this is the man who filed the report against me and asked for them to investigate me.
I told the agents immediately that they were welcome to take with them all cancelled checks and all financial books that I keep for my personal accounts and for the ministry accounts. They were very shocked that I would give everything to them. One agent said, "Did you hear that? We can take with us all cancelled checks."
I told the agents I was happy to have them investigate me. If I was doing anything wrong it would have been accidental and through a failure to understand the rules and if they found I was doing anything wrong I would change it.
The agents took all the materials. A few weeks later, they returned everything and I asked them if they found any thing wrong and they said they did not.
One great financial benefit to me occurred as a result of their investigation. I am an ordained minister and recognized as such by the United States Federal Government. When I began in the ministry, we had no money coming into the ministry so I declined to be in the medicare program and the social security program which would have cost the ministry money that we couldn't afford at that time. I was allowed to decline being in these programs because of minister status. But it meant I would never be able to have medical insurance from government nor would I ever be able to receive money from social security in later life. I signed a paper with my IRS agent at the time declaring this option.
When I was investigated the agent mentioned this. He said I could buy back into the government program if I wanted to do so. I told him I had signed papers declining at the time we began the ministry in the late 70's. He said there was no record of my signing any papers and since there was no record, I had the option of buying back into the system if I wanted to do so. I had plenty of money to do this in the mid-90's so I chose to do this. As a result I can now be in the medicare program which pays for about 80 percent of my hospital and doctor visits. And I receive monthly social security benefits of $777 which I am able to live on at this time.
Joseph said: Gen. 50:20 ... But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good,
What I believe God is showing me is this: This young man may try to hurt me but if he does, God will turn it to good and this young man will not be able to harm me. I am reminded even as I am writing this of the men who were thrown into the oven in the Book of Daniel and how their clothes were not even singed.
Daniel 3 ... Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 3Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 7Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. 9They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. 10Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: 11And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 12There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 13Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king. 14Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 16Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
I believe God is showing the same thing to me. In this secular matter, I will not be hurt in any way by this vindictive young man. So there is no need for me to fear nor continue to be disturbed.

In the second matter I've been dealing with at the same time as the first ...
We can almost be destroyed by the sins of others. I did say "almost". A woman who has been in church groups all her life told me she had an abortion. I was devastated to hear this and so shocked since she had sat where there was Bible teaching from the time she was a very young child. I wouldn't have been as affected had she been a person of the world. I wish she had not told me this. She is a person who drops bombs with her mouth and before you know it she has spoken something that is devastating. Perhaps this turns to good in that I am warned about her. I thought she was better but this came forth from her this week so she is still dangerous... perhaps a warning to me.
God will restore me. I feel certain of that.
There is an instruction to each of us. Speak things that edify the body of Christ when we speak. The telling of past sins must have a point of edification if you speak such. You must be very careful concerning sharing of past sins with other people. This can do great harm to others.
