πŸ’₯ Paul says: Pray for your leaders and all that are in authority.

Comments by Joan Boney:

I really seriously began doing this almost daily this year:

1 Timothy 2

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

I was shocked at the increased level of peace I had in my own life as a result of doing this scripture!

(I'm not a political type person.  I'm not registered to vote in either party.  I have not been taught to hate either Democrats or Republicans.)

I'm for Bible!  Living by those scriptures called to my attention by God through HIS Holy Spirit.

A scripture I've been focusing on for several months as my way of life doing those instructions is 2 Peter 3:14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless

(While we wait for Jesus to return to gather the elect and remove us from this earth.)

When I began praying for Donald Trump ... I prayed several things ... but first I prayed that Mr. Trump find some way to lower our USA debt which was reported to be 30-Trillion Dollars.

To live in peace ... I've found if I start to get angry, examine my thinking.  If the anger is over something ungodly, like partially naked women appearing in public or on TV shows, I have somehow stumbled into the wrong area or wrong TV show.  Turn away! which I do immediately.

Some discussions they have on news, I choose not to hear.  I can turn the TV off and pray for God to create in me a clean heart and renew a right Spirit in me.  (Psalm 51:10) setting me in a righteous state of peace as I wait for Jesus.

I want to go in a righteous way so I delight when I see scripture showing me the way to live so I can do that information.
