πŸ’₯ New Book: Chapter 6. When we have been hurt or injured we must go to God for Him to heal us and create in us a clean heart and to renew in us a right Spirit.

David prayed: "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Comments by Joan Boney:

Often I have prayed this prayer over me and God has always given me a clean heart and a right Spirit toward the person who offended me.

I've heard people tell of offenses that happened years before, and that person still has not gotten over what was done by another person.

Real healing of our heart and spirit comes from God!  Ask Him to cleanse your heart toward that person and to give you the right spirit.

We know when the evil is still in us because we hear our own mouth speaking of that which the other person did.

I know God will do for me that which I could never do for myself!  I can trust God when I can't always trust myself.

And no matter how bad something seems, I know this is true.

Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

Once a man became angry with me, and hoping to do me harm turned my name into the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) in USA who investigate you to see if you are paying enough taxes.

Two IRS agents appeared at my door at the appointed time.

One of the agents said, "Wes Graham?"  ... I replied, "No, I'm Joan Boney."  The agent was very embarrassed for he then realized the name "Wes Graham" was the man who filed the charge against me and wanted IRS to investigate me.  The agent had accidentally read aloud his name to me.
... by this I knew the name he was naming was the man who turned me into the IRS ...

I invited the agents into my house and I said:  "If you find anything I've done wrong it was an error and I will make it good, paying what you tell me ... and you can have all of my past cancelled checks for both me and the ministry."

One agent was shocked and said, "Did you hear that?  She will give us all her cancelled checks to examine."

(She acted as if no one ever offered them their cancelled checks.)

The Bible says we are to live "honest lives" in Christ Jesus (The Word) and live according to the laws of the land so far as they do not conflict with scripture.  That is the way I lived.  I did not try to cheat the federal government.

The legal papers for Jesus Ministries was set up by a retired IRS Tax man who set up ministries for non-profit organizations with the USA Federal Government.

Jack had hundreds of ministries as agent.  I was certain it would be done right, according to government rules.  I had been certified in USA government and by state of Texas where we operated at that time. They had certified the ministry as "non profit".  So the offerings people give are tax exempt and the contributors can declare the offering on their tax filing just like a Baptist Church or other churches.

My salary from our ministry was $400 per month, which I had declared on my own personal IRS tax returns which I filed yearly.

One agent noticed the ministry did not withhold any social security taxes for me.

I said I had signed "a vow of poverty" making the ministry exempt from pay social security taxes on me.

He said there was no record of a vow of poverty declared by me with IRS.

(Jack had tried to get me not to declare this vow of poverty, but I signed the papers declaring this.  Jack didn't want me to file this with IRS for it meant I could never draw social security or medicare benefits. And once the papers were filed with IRS, they could never be "unfiled".  The individual could never receive Social Security or medicare.

But the ministry had no money when Jack set it up and we had to go this way.  Perhaps Jack didn't file the papers, unknown to me.)

The agent said since those papers were not on record at IRS, if I wanted to do so I could buy back in to the Social Security program by paying $8,000 covering the back taxes for the previous years.  I wanted to do this.  Now we had plenty of money.  This meant I would be eligible for monthly social security benefits at 62 and medicare.  I wrote out a check for $8,000 that same day and gave it to the agent.

Several weeks passed.  I called the IRS office and asked to speak with the agent who investigated me and the ministry.  I asked him if he found any problem with my reportingHe said he did not and I could pick up my cancelled checks at their office any time.

It was over!  and I benefited greatly for the remainder of my life.

At the age of 62, I began receiving monthly checks for approximately $499 per month.

I stopped taking any salary from offerings since the money from Social Security was all that I needed for my food and clothing.  Ministry paid my rent for housing since I was an ordained minister at the church.

(A few years later, I fell and broke a hip.  Medicare and independent supplemental insurance which I purchased paid for 2 months in hospital and all surgery!)

Joseph told his brothers who sold him into slavery:

Genesis 45

7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and HE hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

10 And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:

11 And there will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.

Genesis 50

15 And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,

17 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.

19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

God worked it out.

There are countless numbers of people who attend churches and Bible Classes but grow worse and worse spiritually while they think they are better.

They live in fear and do not have the Word of God living in them though often they quote scriptures, but of themselves.

I once attended, for a season, a church in the Dallas area named Word of Faith.  At one point my Bible teacher told me, "You're not like anyone at the church.  We talk about faith but you live faith."

Jesus said in the last days it would be like the days of Noah.

Luke 17

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

So many go to church but fail to handle the scriptures properly.

Paul said:  I Cor. 11

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord (the Holy Bible, the Word of God), unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself
(By the scriptures given by the Holy Spirit), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup (Examining himself by the Bible).

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh
damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep
(die).

I can teach you to live the Word of God ... but it is up to you to do the scriptures properly, in a worthy way.
