πŸ’₯ In the last days perilious times will come ... Live in peace, without spot and blameless.

2 Timothy 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

How we are to live:

2 Peter 3:10-14

10   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Yesterday I got a "taste" of the last days and what it will be like.

Amos says:

Amos 5:18-20

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

One problem after another!

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

I had a wonderful dentist for the past 6 years I have lived in Colorado.

After the first of the year, she sent notice that she has sold her dental shop because she needs to spend more time with her 3 young children.  I certainly approve her decision.  She is going to continue working one day a week and is now solidly booked for almost a month at a time.

I went in a week ago for a filling and new crown.  I expected to see Dr. Bordon but 2 women I've never seen before showed up.  One was the new dentist and the other her assistant.  They both began working on my teeth.  They were not nearly as gentle as Dr. Borden, but it was too bad.

I went home.  Something was hanging down about 2 inches inside my mouth.  I lived with it for the weekend and then it fell out.  It was similar to dental floss but blue and thicker string.

2 weeks later, I went in for my permanent crown. I took the string that had fallen out so dentist could see.  It was not supposed to be inside the tooth where the root was.  Dentist said the string made the tooth "angry".  She cleaned it.  They tried to get the temporary crown out.  It was very difficult and had to be cut out.  When they finally got it out, dentist put the permanent crown on.  I had almost been in the dental chair two hours.  Then dentist told me she had to take the permanent crown off and put the temporary crown back on.  There was something wrong with the manufacture of the permanent crown.  By this time, my body had begun shaking.  Dentist asked if I was OK.  I answered, "No."  Several times she asked if I was OK.  Each time, I answered "No".  I was shaking worse.  I thought I might be having either heart attack or stroke.  I thought I might die.

I kept telling dentist I was not OK.  (She just ignored me and kept drilling.)

I was talking with God.  And I hear to say nothing when I got to leave.  "I said nothing to any worker as I left the dental office."  Pam took me by wheelchair to the car.  I was really cold.  Pam turned the heat up on the car.  I was still shaking badly.

When I got to my room, I left my sweaters on and my coat jacket and put my electric throw on a higher setting than I have ever used: 3

It took till 11 pm before I warmed to normal and quit shaking.

It was amazing to me how the Holy Spirit kept me from saying anything at all to anyone at the dental office.  It was so different from previous encounters.  I didn't speak and was at total peace though it was obvious I was not OK.

I think there will be lots of times in future, we will have to do this when confronted with problems and incompetency.

The Holy Spirit said many words to me telling me what to do.  I followed HIM carefully doing as HE said.

2 Timothy 3

1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

It was very obvious to me neither this new dentist nor her assistant really cared.
Also both were incompetent in their dental work and pretty rough.

Pam had witnessed the 2 hour second session and it confirmed her previous decision to look for another dentist.

Dr. Borden is going to put the permanent crown on when it comes in and she has appointment time in 3 1/2 weeks.

87 year old people really have no business sitting in a dental chair for 2 hours without a break.

But it was obvious no one cared.

The day after the work, I spoke by Mary Beth (office manager) by phone.  I told her sadly I was changing to a new dentist.  I could let Dr. Bordon put the new crown on but then I was changing to a new dentist.

I thought about the carelessness that people will go through in future times.  I hoped you could hear from the Holy Spirit for I think this is the only way I made it through this experience.

We must be able to follow the Holy Spirit at we deal with end time problems.
