God will supply all our need

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Pam Padgett is doing a small remodel job at her home.  She was diligently praying for God to show her what to do concerning the small bath.

Her plan was to "flip" two rooms, moving the laundry to the place where the 1/2 bath was located.

One afternoon, I heard, "Put the shower in the 1/2 bath."  (this would leave the laundry room without any construction to be done)

After I communicated this to Pam, she said, "That would certainly simplify the construction and make the project much easier and reduce cost."  She rejoiced!

Later when I mentioned this subject, I could tell Pam was troubled when she should be rejoicing that God watches over us and shows us the best way for us to go.

Pam was grieved because she got off track.

Paul said he had no confidence in the flesh.  Philippians 3

Neither should we.

But we can greatly rejoice that God watches over us in all things and if we are going in a way that is not best for us, God intervenes and stops us.

This is great comfort.

Also we measure what we do by the following scripture:

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

If a plan is hard to do, complex, overly expensive, I always know I am not going in God's way.

Often plans are not "pure".  Humans come along and plant a seed in us by their own wisdom.  That idea can become a part of us unless we take that idea to God in prayer.  Years later we might enter into thinking something and trapped in a plan which would not be the best plan for us.

But even when this happens God frees us!

I think this is what happened to Pam.

Years ago, a man said her little bath was in a bad location.  (I think the opposite is true for the bath is at the hallway where it is convenient to the kitchen, the new theater room, and the new guest bedroom.)

Pam was concerned that it wasn't "private" enough.  I have been at Pam's house in past and even thought that bath was in a very good location and convenient, which was the opposite from that which this man said to her years ago.

I believe Pam was trapped in wisdom of humans and God freed her to a better way.

For sure, it simplified the whole project and was more in keeping with the wisdom that is from above according to James 3:17.

Pam was really freed when she was reminded of the house she very much wanted to buy when she moved to that area of town.  Someone offered a contract before Pam could and she didn't get the house she wanted.  But she remembered the little 1/2 bath in the house she wanted to purchase was in the same location of her 1/2 bath which she thought to be a problem location.

The mind is sometimes strange.  But God has HIS way of dealing with us.
