If we go to the world to get their plan, we yoke ourselves to the plan of this world.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The apostle Paul says:  Work out your own "salvation" in fear and trembling.  Philippians 2:12

To me, "salvation" means salvation in the way I live on this present earth, as-well-as salvation for eternal life.

Present earth:  There are certain preferences I have and I find it is usually wrong to violate these preferences.  Therefore I work to avoid conflicts.

For example:  I prefer working on the blog and the Bible the first thing each day when I awaken.  Therefore I schedule secular appointments late in the afternoon.  I do not allow the world to control me.  We have wisdom from God and should be in control.

There are certain worldly practices which have no wisdom for me.  I avoid such. ( Many of these come through medical doctors.)  I do those things which God puts into my heart and mind and avoid the routines men practice when I cannot believe such.

Avoid all superstitions of men ... "witchcraft" ... trying to make things happen through their fleshly acts.

I will not participate with them in such things as: clicking of their drink glasses at dinner ... toasting one another with their fleshly mouths and fleshly minds, as if they have the power of God in their own thinking ...

There are so many evil things devised by humans ... in sports fans, I see some who do group hand signs to try to "jinx" the opponents ...  as if they have power in themselves ...

There is one college baseball team that thought bananas were good luck ... they, and even their fans, wore bananas on their heads ... (even adult men and women did this!)  ... their team lost but it seemed to make no difference in thinking the bananas brought luck!  (2018: College World Series)

One woman I know pins a "Saint Christopher" medal on her sun visor of her car for protection.

Catholics pray to Mary, who is dead and can't do anything at all as a dead person who is sleeping in her grave.

Baptist women have told me they decorate graves at cemeteries because it makes them "feel good."

As Christians we should think about what we do?  is it a godly thing?  or is it pagan tradition?

Eternal life:  I do not put myself with persons who can pull me off the road set for me by God.  When I recognize that person is doing that, I withdraw myself.

When a person discourages me through his disobedience, I separate myself from that person.  It is unwise to continue with such.

I want to be around people of God, people who rejoice in God, people who seek their wisdom from God through prayer,  positive people who live in real truth and not in fleshly imaginations of their own fleshly minds.

I will not put myself with negative, godless church people who profess Jesus but live in ways contrary to the wisdom of God shown us in Bible.

I do not put my confidence in the flesh of man.  I want my confidence to be in God for that will never fail.

I keep my hope in God, not in man.

Each of us have to connect with God to have fellowship with God and with one another.

I John 1:7     But if we walk in the light, as HE (The Word) is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son (The Word) cleanseth us from all sin.

*   if we walk in the light ... people who walk in the light of God are controlled in word and in action and these people will not hurt me.  I can "safely" walk with such a person.  The ones who walk in their own wisdom and their own imaginations are dangerous to me.  Either they try to provoke me to teach them, rather than going to God for their own "oil", or they strive with me or speak abominable wisdoms of man as they trust in themselves.  I can't keep myself and be with them or talk with them.  Neither can I help them.

Luke 16:31   If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Let them go to God and clean themselves up and get oil from God and then come to the church and share those things of God, rather than continually burdening the church.

The church are those individuals who seek their wisdom from God continually and follow what HE has shown them.  Those are the persons I choose to talk with daily.  We build each other up in that which God has shown us.  We will not say things to tear each other down.

The church (both men and woman), are like the virtuous woman described in Bible.

Proverbs 31

11  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her.

12    She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

(Look for these individuals and fellowship with them.)

And the church lives in constant joy of the Word.
