In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth by the Word.
God spoke, and it was created. It simply appeared by that Word.
And the earth is kept in place in the solar system. God put the earth in the exact place where life could be sustained, where there is light and darkness and crops will grow and we can be nourished and have life.
Psalm 33:6-9 By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
HE gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: HE layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord (The Word): let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of HIM (The Word).
For HE (The Word) spake, and it was done; HE (The Word) commanded, and it stood fast.

In 2018, there was a woman in our little church group who set her way of life against the Word. She made her paths completely opposite from those things we have been taught for several decades.
When I saw this I was very discouraged.
What good is it that I speak exhortations to the church?
Then God brought HIS Word to my mind to cause me to "stand fast" in the position to which I have been placed by God.
I was reminded of the following:
Ephesians 4:8; 11-12 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

(You can't throw away the gift of the ministry of God because of the disobedience of one person.)
My sorrow over this matter was instantly turned to joy when I remembered HIS gift of the ministry offices to the church.
The gates of hell will not stand against the revealed Word of God.
That which I had just been reminded of was the revealed Word of God, the subject of Jesus (The Word) giving these ministry gifts to the church. We do not throw away the gift from God. We cherish that gift and nourish that gift and continue in that gift for it is given by Jesus (The Word) .

Like the sun and moon and stars, I was kept in place by the Word of God which was brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit who dwells in me.
For this is the work of the Holy Spirit.

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into HIM (The Word) in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
