Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Matthew 2:1-10 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship Him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
(Herod planned to use the wise men so he could find the baby and kill him. Evil people often do this, saying one thing but having another motive in their hearts. But God stops Herod's plan.)
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

12-15 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
And was there until the death of Herod:
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
And was there until the death of Herod:

Rejoice for God has HIS way of delivering us from those persons who would harm us.
Sometimes we have a weakness in us which opens the door for the harm to come to us. But even then God has HIS way to reach us with the truth so we would not be destroyed.

II Peter 2:6-9 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,

A few years ago, God gave me a dream showing me I could not go out through my cousin's house.
Shortly after that, my mother died.
My cousin tried to get me to move to the city where she and her husband and adult aged sons lived. But because of the dream, I knew God showed me I could not move where my cousin lived. I moved 350 miles in the opposite direction from my cousin.
I've had many warnings about people through dreams.

There are other warnings that God gives us to keep us safe.
The Holy Spirit reminds us of scripture and concepts and as we recognize this and pay attention, often we see the way to deal with a person or problem. And as we go in the way shown us by The Holy Spirit we are delivered from that person or problem so that we can be kept safe and free.
But our own desire can cause us to overlook the warning.
Solomon was given great wisdom from God. But one problem is Solomon loved strange women and they seduced Solomon into accepting their gods. This divided Solomon's heart between HIS GOD and the other gods. (You can't follow both.)
I Kings 11:1-10 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites:
Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.
Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the Lord commanded.

People can influence us to go another way and to think another way.
If we put ourselves among relatives who do not know God as we know God, their "leaven" can affect us without our knowing what happened.
Our decision may end up not being "pure".
We begin to fear things that do not exist, imaginations of our own heart.
Ungodly friends can do same harm to us.
Even causing us to "fall away" from those things God as taught us and causing us to make decisions based on thinking of other humans.
And they say things to us which seem true but are based on wisdom of men and rules set up by men.
They do present a danger to us.
And some are so influenced they "fall away" from the teachings they have heard from God and go another way and disaster strikes as a result.
We must love the Word of God more than we love any other person.
For we are warned as follows:
II Thessalonians 2
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(Church people will fall away from scripture and go another way.)
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(sitting in the church but opposing the directions given by scripture and going opposite to scripture, thus exalting himself above the scripture in disobedience.)
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

There is a great peril during the end times. It is a quiet peril and it may not even be recognized by most people, but the design is to turn us away from that which we have learned from God and to get us to go in another way.
God showed me peril is like a man who is standing at a cliff and people are brushing against him as they come and go ... great danger of falling into the pit.
God showed me peril is like a man who is standing at a cliff and people are brushing against him as they come and go ... great danger of falling into the pit.
Let me show you how simple and hidden the peril is.
Since it was revealed to me in 1980, I have taught many times that "God's yoke is easy and HIS burden is light." Matthew 11:30 & James 3:17
One way we can know if we are going the right direction is: Is it easy to be entreated?
If a plan is complex, difficult, hard, filled with dread, we are not going in God's way.
Recently a woman from our church group told a story of having back pain. She went to doctor who prescribed physical therapy for her. She did not want to go to physical therapy. (This shows her not to do this.) But she went.
The appointment was scheduled early morning. Because of the traffic at that hour, she decided to take a bus.
The bus trip required that she make a transfer to a second bus.
She got off at the wrong place.
She had to find another bus to take her to the transfer area.
Then she had to take the transfer bus to the location nearest to the physical therapy.
Does any of this plan sound easy?
The greatest fear I have for this woman is she "fell away" from all that we have been taught by God as she followed men. II Thessalonians 2
Then she was deluded into thinking this somehow was praise to God and she wrote us about this. I dealt with it immediately.
Is this a "falling away"?
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Of course it is. It is a falling away from the above scripture and going another way. That is what the "falling away" is. Failing to do as instructed by the scripture.
Can she come back? Can she return to following God to the end of her life on this present earth? How serious is this?
Men plot against God ... and men go in ways opposite to the ways of God told us in the scripture.
Delusion and destruction are their paths.
