Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
The scriptures show us God's way, the way of life.
Sin is the way of death and is authored by our own flesh and by devil.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Jesus came to give us life and to give it more abundantly.
We do have choices.
As we read Bible, various scriptures show us the way of life.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Edify: to build in the way of God ... to cause people to think on God and glorify God
A few years ago, I saw this scripture and began seriously thinking about it.
God gave me an opportunity to do this scripture as I was visiting with my neighbors one day.
I am a very non-political person. But that year there was a presidential race that caught my attention and I would often listen to the political updates on the news. As I did that, I was planting seeds in my heart which would have born evil fruit had I not meditated on what God was saying through Ephesians 4:29
As I spoke with my neighbors that day, I very much wanted to say, "And what do you think of the election?"
But I knew that would not build my neighbors spiritually nor bring grace to God.
But my flesh was on fire to say that.
It was a strong battle between my flesh and the spirit of God as I sat there that day with my neighbors.
I was praying continually asking God for help.
I finally left their house without speaking those secular things.
And I greatly thank God to this day for helping to control my flesh.

Recently a woman began speaking evil of the current president of the USA.
I recalled a scripture which had led me in what to do in past concerning elections.
I Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Because of this scripture, I did not enter into the talk this woman was doing.
As we study the various scriptures and decide to live in the way of these instructions in Bible, we plant good seeds in our hearts and later bear good fruit.

Jesus said HIS kingdom was not of this world.
Neither is our kingdom of this world.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
For us who belong to God, we look forward to a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness.
II Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
(Knowing this causes our focal point to shift in emphasis. This world is very temporary. Either we will be leaving this world through death or Jesus will return for us and remove us from this world.)
I Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).
For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We will not be brought to this present earth for eternal life for this present earth will be destroyed by God in the wrath of God after the great tribulation that God sends upon this earth.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

There is a new heaven and a new earth for us. God allowed the apostle John to see that which is prepared for us and John described it to us as follows:
Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Also we will be given new bodies which will be spiritual bodies. I Corinthians 15
Our present fleshly bodies will be changed from flesh to spirit.
It is the flesh that causes us to have physical pain. There will be no more physical pain. It is the flesh by which we have emotions that are troublesome to us. There will be no more flesh.
It is the flesh that causes us to have physical pain. There will be no more physical pain. It is the flesh by which we have emotions that are troublesome to us. There will be no more flesh.
Everything will be different!
Knowing these truths should cause us to live differently as we live on this present earth.
Everything as we know it now will pass away, vanish, in the "twinkling of an eye", says the apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15.
Blink. That is how fast it will happen.
Blink. That is how fast it will happen.
If we think on these scriptures we will free ourselves from so much of the trials and strife we have on this earth as we focus on our physical bodies and our properties. For they will be gone!
All this is only temporary and will vanish in the blink of an eye.
But the word of the Lord will continue forever.
