Jesus forgave sin ... Jesus did not approve future sins.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In John 8, a woman was taken in adultery and brought to Jesus for Him to judge.

Jesus did not condemn her in her sin, but Jesus did not approve future sins either.

Jesus said to her:  "Go ... and sin no more."

Jesus freed this woman from continuing this way of death in which she was living by setting her in a new way of life.

The word continually frees us from our ways of death, sending us instead into a way of life in righteousness.

As we believe the scriptures, we enter into life in Christ, going in the way of life.

It is a process which we do over and over as we are confronted with various problems of this life and as we make choices to put our own flesh to death not letting it to do as it wills but choosing instead to do as God wills.

The instruction in the Bible is death to sin but life to us.

Choose life.

When we are confronted with a strong temptation, we can ask God to help us not to say "that" or to help us not to do "that."

When I have asked God to help me in such times, God has always helped me.

Yesterday I was working on a writing I am doing concerning ways God causes us to prosper and have good success as we live in righteousness, meditating in scripture.

I love sharing the Word God gives me for it can help others also.

My cleaning woman, a Catholic, was working here as I was writing this.  I wanted so much to share this with her.  But I restrained myself for the last few times I have shared something with her she has said, "Yes ... but ..." and then has tried to explain away the scripture or concept.

God gave me a word of instruction concerning this woman:  "Just think on that which she does well." (That which she does well is cleaning.)

As I thought on that word given me by God and did that word instead of sharing things of God with her as I wanted to do, everything went well.

I did not share what I was writing with her.  She cleaned my house, said goodbye, left me in peace.
