What Is The Church?
Jesus said ... Mt 18:20 ... For where two or three are gathered together in MY name, there am I in the midst of them.
When two or three who have the Spirit of God gather together, Jesus is there and this is the gathering of the church. The church is not a building made with human hands.
I Cor. 6 ... What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
The church could meet in a park, or in a home (that is where the early church met), or in a building called a church building. The meeting place is not the church. The people who have the Spirit of God are the church.

Once I attended a secular luncheon at the city where I was living. The building happened to be across from First Methodist Church building. The subject of the church came up at the table. The woman next to me proudly pointed at the church building across the street and told us "that" was her church.
I responded, “We are the church.”
This woman became very angry and offended and said of herself, “I am not the church.”
Perhaps she was correct. (She probably was not the church.)
But if we belong to Christ, we are the church.
I Cor. 6 … What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
