Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
Pam Padgett and I speak by phone almost daily, sometimes several time each day.
Pam is very careful and diligent to speak truth, even in things that don't really matter.
At one period in her life, she went skiing. She lives in Colorado. I've never been skiing and of course will never go skiing, but I was curious as to how the expense compared with golf which I did play for several years at a low level.
Pam said the ski lifts for a single day could be as much as $100. It is expensive. (When she skied, she bought a pass which is less expensive than paying per day.)
But even as we were talking on phone, Pam was looking this up on internet, not wanting to give me incorrect information.
She is diligent for the truth even in things that "don't matter." (But to God everything matters.)
Secular and spiritual, truth is important, for deception is rampant in the end times and to live in deception of any kind is to risk being turned over by God to being strongly deceived... deluded.
II Thessalonians 2:10-12 ... because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Delusion means: a belief that is strongly maintained but is not true
When we speak, we must check ourselves in that which we say, and be sure what we speak is truth whether it has to do with spiritual things or secular things.
The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of Truth.
I do urge us to walk in truth and to live in truth, otherwise how can we be of God who is light?
There are no little mistakes. We are responsible for truth.

Jeremiah 9 shows the heart of God on this matter:
God says: Oh that MY head were waters, and MINE eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of MY people!
Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave MY people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not ME, saith the LORD.
Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know ME, saith the LORD.
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of MY people?
Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
Shall I not visit (judge) them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not MY soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Jesus says the following:
Matthew 12:33-37 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
