Jesus warned HIS disciples

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Matthew 16:5-12    And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

Which when Jesus perceived, HE said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

Then understood they how that HE bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

We, who belong to God, have in us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.  HE guides us into all truth.

There are many false doctrines taught in churches, especially as we draw nearer to the end times.

But we have in us the Spirit of Truth that we might know truth.

At various times, as needed, the Holy Spirit will call something to our attention, bringing it to our mind usually in the form of a thought.

Once the following thought kept coming into my mind... "in the air"

After a few times of this coming to mind, I stopped and focused on that which was coming into my mind.  (sort of like Moses seeing the burning bush and stopping to focus on that bush that was not consumed by fire)

I felt "in the air" was in a scripture, perhaps I Thessalonians 4.  I went there and found it.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18    But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Since this present heaven and earth will be destroyed it would be impossible for Jesus to establish HIS kingdom on this present earth which will be destroyed in the day of the Lord.

And also I was taken to the following scripture to show me what will happen when Jesus establishes HIS kingdom.

Revelation 21:1-5    And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Also I saw by scripture that we will not have these present fleshly bodies in the new kingdom of God.  We will be changed in a "twinkling of an eye".  We will not take these old bodies with us when we go to meet Jesus.  God will give us new bodies, says Paul.

I Corinthians 15:48-52    As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink ... that is how fast we will be changed.)

II Timothy 3:16-17    All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
