If we would correct ourselves by the Word of God, we would not have to be corrected.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

(I tell you I speak as an apostle/prophet, appointed and trained by God, so that you may know the messages I carry are not of my own opinion but are messages from God Himself.)

*****

Thus saith the Lord:

I Corinthians 11 ... judging ourselves by the Word of God ...  But let a man examine himself (by the Word of God) , and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup  (making appropriate changes by the Word of God.)

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep
(die).

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

But when we are judged
(by prophets and godly persons who carry correction to us), we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Recently I brought a correction to a woman and I said what you are doing reminds me of Jonah who heard exactly where to go but he went the opposite way.

She replied she had the thought come recently that what she was doing was like Jonah.

But she didn't look into the scripture about Jonah but turned away to other things.

* For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Judge ourselves by the scriptures and the other Words God brings to us by HIS Spirit.

James 1:25 ... But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

But fat and ugly people don't like looking into a mirror and usually when passing a mirror they turn their heads quickly from the image the mirror shows.

Spiritually unruly people do not like looking into the Word of God when it shows them as spiritually lazy and evil.

Ezekiel 3:7 God said to Ezekiel   But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto ME: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Nevertheless God caused Ezekiel to go and speak with them even though they would not listen to Ezekiel.

I Corinthians 11

* For if we would judge ourselves (by the word of God), we should not be judged. But when we are judged (by prophets and godly persons who carry correction to us), we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Ezekiel 33:31-32    And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as MY people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Recently I was delivering a correction to a woman and she accused me of being unfair.  She  said I didn't beat Juliett as much as I beat her.

Ezekiel 33:20  Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

* For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

We correct ourselves as we read Bible, keeping needed verses in front of us day and night until those ways shown by those verses rise up and overcome our own flesh.

We especially work with verses where we are having problems at this point in time.

I've been very much in a struggle lately, being tempted to stop doing the work of the ministry which I began doing in 1980 as apostle and prophet called by God, trained by God.

Some of the verses that are keeping me where I can continue doing the work are these:

Colossians 4:17  Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

I Corinthians 9:24-27  Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Must keep running until you cross finish line. If you quit before you reach the finish line and drop out of the race, all is lost. Must finish the race.

It is very hard work to bring correction over and over to the church people, often the same person.

They could correct themselves but they won't listen to God, properly doing the Word of God.

* Ezekiel 3:7 God said to Ezekiel But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto ME: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Recently a woman was going to airport at 11:30 at night to pick up a puppy she had purchased which was being delivered by air from Bakersfield, California, to Texas.

I prayed about her plan which was to drive alone in the night to the isolated area where the airport is located. This woman has difficulty seeing at night. She has a problem with direction and can get twisted even in her own neighborhood. Parking in short term can be extra stress. I asked God for help. And I heard one word, "limousine".

I greatly rejoiced knowing God had sent the answer to the problem.

This woman paid no attention at all to what God said. In fact, she didn't even know it was God delivering the message through me. She has been in our church group for 38 years. She should have known I, as a prophet, was not giving my own opinion. I didn't say, "Thus saith the Lord." I had no idea she would think this anything but a message from God to help her.

What she did plan to do after reading the word delivered through me, a prophet, is this:

- She said she could easily drive herself to airport. Then she could drop carrier off at his hotel.
- She rented a limousine to pick carrier up at 7:30 am the next morning so she wouldn't have to get up so early and take him from hotel to airport.

The message from God which I delivered was as follows: White Knight has Lincoln limo service to airport. Betsy uses this a lot. They pick you up and take you to airport and bring you and puppy back. YOU SHOULD NOT GO ALONE

She completely twisted the message.

I called her and she went back to the limo for herself plan. The hotel where the man stayed likely had airport service and if not he could easily get a taxi. Sandra is the one who needed the limo.

One very important thing I learned from this is to identify more explicitly my offices at the beginning of my writings on blog. People today are so accustomed to opinions of man and so rarely recognize what I write is by the office of an apostle or prophet and God's message, that they read what I write on blog as they would read some type of Christian newspaper. Maybe it will help if I state more strongly this message is from God. I have started immediately doing that on the blog. "Thus saith the Lord..."

Also I asked Sandra if she prayed about her plan to drive herself to airport at almost mid-night.

She said, "No ... of course not ... "

She said she made a trial run driving to airport and made notes.

I said, "In the middle of the night?"

I then pointed out several possible dangers: A flat tire in an isolated area ... murderers looking for women with car trouble ... She would likely leave her house several hours too early because she knows she has trouble locating things and leaving 3 hours or so early would be so tiring, she is 69-years-old.

God sees dangers where we do not and helps us avoid such when we listen to HIM.
