* Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not HIS saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off,

Matthew 7:24-27  Whosoever heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Put away looking for "bright side" (happy feet). Seek only truth from God … how God sees the matter.

YOUR will, Lord, not my will.

I John 5:19   And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

*****

John 5:30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

I don't know what anyone needs ... only God knows ... Trust and depend on HIM

depend ... rest on, rely on, be controlled by, to need in order to exist, be healthy, or be successful

Must trust that God WILL show me IF there is anything I should speak or do to help someone ... otherwise, stay still and quiet.

Depend only on God, not on how the situation looks to me (don't lean on my own understanding, being wise in my own eyes)

Proverbs 5:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Isaiah 55:8-11 … God says …

For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, and MY thoughts than your thoughts.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:1   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

perilous ... full of extreme danger or risk; full of grave risk or peril; hazardous;

2-8   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

13   But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14-17   But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Don't be presumptuous, thinking I know what God is doing in a matter, or what needs to be done.
