Continuing to the end

Juliett Walton ... member of the body of Christ

I have been corrected many times. Godly correction is not fun but was necessary to get my attention so that I can stop what I was doing and go in the way of God. We have the world, flesh, and devil to deal with but I know that God's way is the way of life.

Just recently, I was talking to my self and wondering Lord God will I make it?

I ask God to help me continually.

I am reminded of the passage in Hebrews 12 which speaks of the chastening of Lord. He chastens those He loves..those who are His. We all have to keep going in the way God directs us and judge our selves by His Word.

(But if we would judge ourselves, we would not have to be judged ... so read Bible, judging yourself and making corrections in your thinking.  I Corinthians 11)

To me, time is short, and I must try to do what we have been learning about all these years.

I am not above any one else.

As the passage above says, "I will judge you every one after his ways".

Also we will all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

II Corinthians 5:9-11    Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM.  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

That is sobering to me.

I am glad that we can share with each other and encourage one another in the way of God.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I feel exactly same as Juliett ...I'm not sure I can make it...Paul was concerned about himself.

I Corinthians 9

24-27    Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

I'm having a real battle to continue race as apostle / prophet.

But if I quit I know I lose everything.
