Philemon 1:6
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the
acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

(Pam Padgett) ... In
approximately 1984 while sitting at a non-denominational church waiting
for the service to begin, the following was brought to my mind: "What are you doing here? I told you to get out. Now get out."
I was stunned. "Could this possibly be God?" I asked myself. "The preacher read and taught from the Bible. Surely this thought couldn't be from God, could it?"
When
I got home and talked with God about what I had heard, I became
convinced it was God telling me to leave that church. I asked when HE
had previously told me to "get out", and was reminded of a dream Joan
Boney had shared with us in which poisonous gas was coming through the
speaker which should be warning the people and was killing the people.
***
Poisonous gas dream, given to Joan Boney in 1979:
Destruction was everywhere.
A second man rushed into the room and said: "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."
The first man resumed speaking.
I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."
There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole. A gas was coming out of the speaker. I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people. It was coming directly toward us!
The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!
I looked at the man seated next to me. He had a big grin on his face and was looking directly at the man who was speaking to the group. But then I saw this man was a corpse, though he looked alive. He was already dead!
I looked about the room at the other people and realized they were all dead.
As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

Although
the preacher at the non-denominational church I was attending taught
many things from the Bible, this church allowed divorced women to
re-marry, contrary to various scriptures in the New Testament. This
church was, in fact, anti-christ.
I left that church group.
Romans 7:2-3 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
I Corinthians 7:10-11 Paul said ... And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

(Comments by Joan Boney)
As a new Christian, God spoke to me several times to instruct me. Always it was in the form of a thought brought to my mind. Here are some of them.
I owned a small business in American Indian Arts in Dallas, Texas, at that time in the 1970's.
A young woman, approximately 20 years old, filed a law suit against me and took me to US court in a trial. I heard what I believed to be a word from God. "Don't testify." I told my lawyer he might not want to represent me because I believed God had spoken to me and told me, "Don't testify."
He said they would continue to represent me. Flo who worked for me witnessed the incident and he thought her testimony would be enough for us to win the case.
But Flo was very angry with me because I was not going to testify. She said, "Since you aren't testifying, all the pressure of the trial will now be on me!"
I replied, "What can I do. I believe God has told me not to testify so I can't testify."
(Flo was not appeased with my explanation.)
Then, the man I was dating at that time said, "Joan ... you aren't doing that girl any good by not testifying." I told him I wasn't trying to do her any good. I believed God spoke to me telling me "Don't testify," and I was just trying to obey what I believed God said to me.
I had no idea that everyone on my own side was going to be against me for doing the word which I believed to be from God. (I was very naive at that time and didn't know much scripture.) Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

(This turned into a 2 day trial at US courthouse.)
My lawyer came to me at one point and said Flo's testimony didn't go as well as he thought it would but if I would testify he knew we would win the case. (Without my testimony he said he didn't know what would happen to me.)
I replied, "I'll see." and I left the courtroom and went into the ladies room and began praying, "God, what do YOU want me to do about this court case."
Immediately the words, "Don't testify." came into my mind.
I went back into the courthouse. My lawyer was watching for me to come back and I just shook my head, "No". After that I heard no more on the subject.
The second day, the judge ordered us to product a bill of sale concerning the purchase. When we did, the judge looked at it and said, "Case dismissed. Defendant acquitted."

Like in the case of Abraham, God was testing me to see if I would obey HIM.
Genesis 22
1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And HE said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
2 And HE said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
(What I went through was not nearly the serious level test of Abraham but it was a very serious test to me as a new Christian who didn't know much at all!)
