(Pam Padgett) ... In 2005 I was engaged to be married to a man named Chuck.  But Chuck broke the engagement after I warned him that his son would be an adulterer if he married the divorced woman he was planning to marry, as Jesus told us in Matthew 5:32  But I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   

 

Although he said he was a Christian, Chuck didn't want to hear this; he wanted to approve his son and what his son wanted to do. 

As I got into my car to leave after Chuck broke our engagement, I was very upset.  But then the Holy Spirit brought to my mind:  "Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers."   

 

The Holy Spirit went on to explain that Chuck was an unbeliever since he didn't believe what Jesus said in Matthew 5:32.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 

 

This helped and comforted me, and I came to be very glad that I did not marry Chuck.

(Sandra Chupik) ... Dream 8/7/2019:  I was driving in the underground parking lot of a grocery store.  I was about to get out of my car, but realized that I looked very pale, my hair was sticking out in all directions, I had on old, dirty work clothes and I stank.  I decided to leave and go back home.  When I started to drive, I was blind so I drove very slowly and fortunately didn't hit anyone or anything.  Then I could see again.  I got on a highway that was under construction.  I drove my car off of the road.  Thankfully, there was a level shoulder of the road at that spot.  I was going the wrong way and thought I would be able to turn my car around and get back on the road going the right way.  Two women I had worked with stopped to talk with me.  I told one of them "If I can't turn my car around, it will be very bad" and she said "okay" then walked away as if she didn't care.  The other woman seemed concerned and stayed to help me. 

(Joan Boney ... 1-27-25 ... I worked today with Sandra to help her.  Main problems:  must recognize and resist thoughts sent by devils ... build personal faith by focusing on what God says and holding fast to God's word.  This is a very common problem today among the body of Christ.)  Instead of thinking and telling what devil says to you, bridle your tongue. Don't speak that word devil brought.  Focus on what God says in Bible or directly to you by HIS Holy Spirit, speak that to others... learn to speak that which edifies the church, that which is from God on the matter at hand.
