John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same (The Word) was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him (The Word); and without Him (The Word) was not any thing made that was made.
In Him (The Word) was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Word had no beginning and has no end. The Word was with God and is God.
For a short period of time The Word was made flesh, appearing on this earth in the form of a man. But HE is The Word.
Yet Jesus, The Word, is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end ... We begin with The Word and The Word is the end of the issue.
This is a great mystery for many church goers worship "Jesus" as a man but fail to do "The Word." But Jesus is The Word. It is impossible to worship "Jesus" and fail to do "The Word" for truly we worship "The Word" by doing "The Word."

We know the ideas that are from God by the following:
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
* without hypocrisy: many church goers pretend to have faith without actually believing. They play act. But when the Word is brought to them by the Spirit of God the power of the Word is a power above all fleshly trying.

Today Jesus, The Word, speaks to us by the Holy Spirit of Jesus who carries The Word to our mind and by this we can know the will of God in the matter at hand. I Corinthians 2
