Psalm 27

The Lord (The Word revealed by the Spirit of God)  is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord (The Word revealed by God)   is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Through the various encounters with life, we learn to wait on God, on HIS Word, and to trust in God and know HE is in charge of that which pertains to us.

When God brings HIS Word to our mind by HIS Spirit, we have everything we need concerning that which is happening at that moment.  Until we have THAT Word, we wait.  We can't figure it out in our own mind.  To try to do that is to trust in ourselves.

When we hear from God, when HE gives us direction by HIS Spirit, then we move forward.

God is in charge, even of our enemies.

I've been reading a series of books written by Winston Churchill concerning WWII.

The enemy would be attacking in a way that was sure to bring total destruction, then all of a sudden that enemy would go in another direction, another plan.  I always knew it was God who brought that idea to the enemy to turn him to cause him to go in another way.

These example given in these books have helped me to see the following truth.

Proverbs 21:1    The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: HE turneth it whithersoever HE will.

Since God is in control, both of us and the enemy, what is there to fear?

Psalm 27:14    Wait on the Lord (The Word brought by the Spirit of God): be of good courage, and HE (The Word) shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord (The Word).
