Volume 5 ... #3
The Word of God will not return to God void ... It always
accomplishes HIS purpose, which might not be our purpose ... We just
speak the word given us by God.
Isaiah 55 ... God says ...
8 For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways,
and MY thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither,
but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The rain comes down from heaven and waters the earth. That rain accomplishes God's purpose. The rain does not fall and then go back up to heaven. Rain waters the earth.
God taught me to speak the word. Do not focus on the reaction of the person. Focus on the word and the fact that I spoke it to that person. That is my job.
The following scriptures are used by God to keep me going and to keep me speaking the word.
Heb. 3 ... 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb. 10 ... 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together (this does not mean to stay in a corrupt, apostate church where the scriptures are omitted or denied but rather to assemble ourselves with other individuals who have the Holy Spirit and want to be ruled by God through the Spirit and the Bible), as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
I Cor. 15 ... 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Just keep speaking the truth. Be faithful to God to do the above, exhorting one another in the truth of God. Keep on doing this as long as you live on this earth. Be faithful to God.
Isaiah 55 ...
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
8 For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the Lord.
