Volume 4 ... #26
The Word of God lost then rediscovered
During the time of Josiah, the king, the Word of God had disappeared ... and then was rediscovered after a period of time. I feel that is a bit like today where so much of the Bible has disappeared from the churches.
II Chronicles 34 ... 1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years. 2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images. 4 And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
5 And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.
(This reminds me of how you have to uproot the things that are corrupt that have been taught by tradition of men by the "priests"... the "ministers" which the people have worshiped.)
6 And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about. 7 And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
18 years into Josiah's reign as king of Judah, he had gathered wages to pay the workers who were restoring the house of God. In the ruins they found something. They found a book of the Word of God. It had apparently been lost for many generations.
They took this book of the Word of God and read it to the king. He was horrified for they had been doing things against that which was written in the book of the Word of God.
They drifted very far away from the Word of God during those years when the book was missing.
That is so much like today. Along the way, churches omitted many scriptures and went another way. The people in those church groups would be very shocked to read the things I have written from the Bible concerning: divorce/remarriage ... fornication ... adultery ... homosexual/lesbians ... hair length ...
These scriptures have been missing so long from many congregations they will find it shocking to really see what the Bible says. Though each person can have his own Bible and read for himself, he often just depends upon the minister at his church to tell him that which is in the Bible.
Certainly both the minister and the congregation is guilty for not looking into the scriptures in the New Testament.
Some of the more shocking things are:
- It is a shame for women to have short hair. It is a shame for men to have long hair. I Cor. 11
- If the man marries a divorced woman, commits adultery. Mt. 5:32
- If the woman leaves her husband, the commandment of the Lord is for her to remain unmarried or return to her husband. I Cor. 7:10
- If a man divorces "a faithful wife" he will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries. Mt. 5:32
- Both homosexuals and lesbians have been turned over to vile affections, men with men and women with other women. Romans 1
- You are carnal to call yourselves "Baptist" or "Church of Christ" or by another other denomination. I Cor. 3
- What the Holy Spirit does in the believer. (Many churches omit the references to the Holy Spirit.) Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13
- We will not have these current physical bodies when we leave this earth and meet Jesus in the air. I Cor. 15
- This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God. II Peter 3
- The dead people do not watch over the living. The dead people are asleep. I Thess. 4
- Not all will die. Some will still be alive when Jesus returns for the church. I Thess. 4
Several years ago, I heard the following from God: "There will be no Bibles but I will teach you."
At the time I heard this word, it didn't seem possible to me that there would be no Bibles. But now I can see how the churches removed Bible and how strange the Bible sounds today to people who have faithfully attended apostate churches where scripture have been omitted or twisted.

My neighbor, Gordon, really liked hearing my radio broadcasts. He, a Methodist, made a copy of one of the broadcasts and carried the recording to his pastor. Pastor listened and said, "She really seems to know a lot about the Bible." Later Gordon went to this pastor and asked him a question about Bible. This pastor said: "I really don't know anything about the Bible."

A young man came to me recognizing me as a godly woman. He spoke one scripture after another. At first I was really excited about him. But then he began adding to scripture. I corrected him many times. He wanted to remain with me but I removed myself from this young man. He even begged me not to remove him. He said, "I can be corrected." The problem was he wouldn't correct himself and showed no shame at all concerning the way he mis-handled scripture. This is the way antichrist handles scripture.

The word of God means something to me.
I am very careful and prayerful with scripture. I would be very ashamed and horrified if I mishandled scripture. But pastors I've gone to really don't show any concern at all when I've taken scripture to them and they have wrongly presented scripture to the congregations.
I've never seen one of these pastors repent nor be ashamed over mishandling of scripture.
This is the antichrist in the churches.
There are many antichrists today in churches and many apostate churches that have fallen away from scripture.
This is very important for Paul says Jesus will not return unless the falling away from scripture happens in the church ... II Thess. 2
It has happened today and it is happening today.
Do you doubt this? When was the last time you heard the following preached to the congregation?
Mt. 5:32 ... Jesus said ... whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
I was born again in 1975 and have attended many churches since that time and I have never heard this scripture preached at any church.
Where are the churches moving today with homosexuals/lesbians, fornicators, adulterers, divorce/remarriage? And what is it they are omitting from scripture right now? Does sin sit in the congregation today in form of non-married couples who are living together (having sex) and being accepted in the congregation?
The Methodist church group even ordains homosexuals as ministers.
The Catholic pope announced he sees nothing against homosexuals. When I heard him say this on a newscast, I screamed at TV ... "What about Bible?" ... Romans 1

Back to king Josiah ...
II Chronicles 34 ... They found the book of the Word of The Lord in the ruins while repairing the house of God that had been destroyed ...
14 And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the Lord, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the Lord given by Moses.
15 And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord.
And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan. 16 And Shaphan carried the book to the king,
... 18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
19 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes.
20 And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king's, saying,
21 Go, enquire of the Lord for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found:
for great is the wrath of the Lord that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord, to do after all that is written in this book.
... 22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
(In Old Testament only a few persons had the Holy Spirit. They often went to the prophet to obtain the Word of Lord on matter at hand. NT all who are of God have been given Holy Spirit and they go directly to God in prayer, not to a prophet, to find out what God has to say. Prophets are still used by God in NT to do work of ministry, Eph. 4, but God speaks directly to people in NT church today.)
23 And she answered them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel,
Tell ye the man that sent you to me, 24 Thus saith the Lord,
Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:
25 Because they have forsaken ME, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke ME to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore MY wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched.
26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the Lord, so shall ye say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast heard;
27 Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before ME, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before ME; I have even heard thee also, saith the Lord.
28 Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same.
So they brought the king word again.

Will the apostate church today be saved from the wrath of God?
The wrath of God will come upon today's apostate church and the apostate congregations that sit and worship the apostate preachers in their churches. Unless an individual humbles himself and acknowledges before all the scriptures that have been omitted, he will be "damned" with the preachers and the others who reject the Bible.
Paul says: II Thess. 2 ... 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
